Does not sound good, not loud enough, no bass. I do not recommend.

When battery is half life left, sound gets very distorted. Also when about 20' away the music cuts out.

Don't join speakers and you're good! Don't turn volume all the way up because the battery will die

I love music & I love hearing it LOUD. I’ve been wanting a bluetooth speaker but was debating on the Beats Pill+ & UE MegaBoom. I’m so glad I choose this one because it’s LOUD, the sound is amazing & the quality is made to last. I used it for a couple hours non-stop & it lasted me about 8hrs or so on full charge. That was a bummer but other than that this speaker is AMAZING. You will not regret this purchase!

I was a bit unsure about the speakers for the price. But realizing what it's capable of I figured i'd give it a go. The moment i opened that cylinder and unleashed the 'beast' it took me by surprise. The app you use for it is very simple and easy to use, explains everything. You can pair it up with another device for even more sound, heck it's even waterproof/Life Proof and stain resistant. Overall i have to give this a thumbs way up!

Sound is ok, but the speaker phone system is terrible, very low output

Unbelievable sound! Loved my first regular Boom and the Megaboom has impressed me even more. Love the waterproof feature and the Megaboom app which allows me to sync up my Boom and Megaboom (or two Megabooms) for the ultimate surround sound experience! I highly recommend this product!

Poor battery life at the start. A few months later, battery won't even charge. Tried contacting UE customer service - they have given me the runaround for the last three months - really poor customer svc! Look elsewhere for a quality speaker.

Bad quality sound, got a great deal but is not worth it

Within 4 uses the speaker sound deteriorated, not related to bluetooth connection, but speaker itself. Very disappointed.

Everything about this purchase was terrible when I received the item it had wrapping paper on it from Christmas then I use the speaker and the battery goes dead right away and my plan was to use it at work but it’s not very loud

Lasted for one charge. Charged it again fully and now it turns on for a second and then turns right off. The bluetooth icon that pops up on my phone for a second, says it has a full battery too. Horrible device.

Wouldn’t charge after the second day. Returned it.

Has some battery issues, just dies and is totally toast

I love the UE Megaboom. I bought it this summer and use it almost every day around the house/in the shower. I have even taken it on a kayaking trip and it was perfect because it could get wet and I didn't have to worry. Oh and it sounds better than any other bluetooth speaker its size and the battery lasts forever it seems like.

I was so excited to get this and it worked just fine about 3 times and now it won’ work unless it is plugged in. Kind of useless for a wireless speaker. It is going back to the store

Mega boom provides no bass response what so ever. This was a gift but when he played it for me I was shocked at the minimal response. This is the same reason I stay away from Bose.

I returned them after the Geek Squad rep said he would charge me $40 to show me how to sync them.

This speaker should be called Megaweak not Megaboom. UE is over rated and over priced. No boom just all treble. Tried to configure settings on their app and it still lacked clarity and bass.

I was reading pretty solid reviews for this particular speaker and was excited about purchasing. Upon receiving, I was impressed with the aesthetics of the speaker and 20+ hours battery but ultimately, I have to admit that I was a bit underwhelmed in sound quality. My genre of preferences is typically Top 40, Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Reggae, Alternative, and a bit of Rock and Roll. In the speaker's defense, I am a bass-head, which is a huge selling point for me especially for the price of this system (300 bucks), and it sorely lacks performance in bass. Speakers struggle to capture fullness of bass at low and high volumes and average around mid-volume. Picking up deep low bass notes--very flat to say the least and also non-existent. On the brighter side of things, it's loud if nothing else. Not the most crisp and full sound pushed out, but it is loud especially around 4-6ft away. The farther away, the sound quality diminishes. Overall, in my opinion of course, you can keep all the pleasantries--the weatherproof-ness, 20+hour battery, dual bluetooth hookup, speakerphone. Give me great sound quality and clarity; this speaker just doesn't deliver that for $300. Returning UE Megaboom for either Sony SRS-S5 or S7 or Bose Soundlink Mini
