Customers regard the sound quality of these earbuds as excellent, frequently praising the clarity and balance. The fit is also generally considered comfortable and secure, with multiple ear tip options available. However, some users find the bass response could be improved, expressing a desire for more low-end punch. Overall, the positive feedback on sound quality and fit outweighs the concerns about bass.

First the pros:
the audio is fantastic, superb highs and mid range with a tight controlled bass. For those people who say there is no bass, you have to crank your ipod to 70% to hear the bass, which is very good. The build of the shell is sturdy. Another pro is it comes with a bunch of ear pieces for a good fit.
The cons:
I bought mine a couple weeks ago and liked them a lot. This is not my first set of UE's from the company, so I trust the brand. After a few days the ear pieces started getting stuck in my ear and I would have to dig them out. Then about three weeks after i got them the cord broke for no reason. I returned them the following day.
Long story short, they replaced them, no questions asked. The current pair are doing much better. They are tuned a little bit better also. Every thing is a little better with these!
My advice, If you want this brand but want more bass, go with the 220's. If you like a controlled bass and superb highs and mids, then these are for you!
Music genre I use them for:
rock and jazz

This is a great sounding set of headphones. The mids and highs are excellent. They are very comfortable, even for extended periods of time. My music sounds more crisp than ever before. Many different sizes of tips for maximum comfort.
For some bass junkies, the low end may be lacking, but i just adjusted my equalizer to compensate for this.

I first loved these ear-buds for their sound quality, it is really clear, and the noise cancellation works really well. But i use my earphones everywhere and in every situation. The first time I had those, they last for like 2month, i then went exchange them and the same problem happened again after only 3month: problem at the connection, and the sound started interrupting.
These headphones are definitely excellent sound quality, but you probably want to look for more resistant pairs if like me you wanna be able to use them everywhere, and not only in your room or in the plane.

There was a lot of hype surrounding these monitors, and for the price, I thought they'd outshine the Bose In-Ears. Once the price became more reasonable, I figured I'd scoop-up a pair. I own the entry-level MetroFi 170s and am quite impressed with their performance. I expected the SuperFi 4s to take me to even greater heights in pure audio enjoyment.
These come with many different sizes of silicone cushions, and two sets of the foam Comply cushions. Both types work well, but I feel the silicone cushions offer the best sound quality. The Comply cushions are far more comfortable and less likely to slide out and break the seal, but they absorb some of the sound, especially on the higher end.
Immediately out of the box, I noticed that these play louder than the MetroFi 170s. I'm not sure if that's better, but these do play a little louder at lower volumes. I also noticed that there isn't a whole lot of bass, with these SuperFi 4s. By comparison, the MetroFi 170s are thirty times better. I personally like balanced, full-bodied sound.....with a slight emphasis on the bass. With the SuperFi 4s, you get a little bit, but for the price it's just not enough. Not for me. I like to "feel" the bass, rather than just "hear" it.
These SuperFi 4s are great-looking in-ear monitors that provide an extremely loud and detailed sound, but after trying to break them in over the two weeks that I've owned them, I'm unsatisfied with the bass output. They are great monitors, and provide very clear and bright sound. The highs and mids are awesome, but the lower end is lacking, and for a bass junkie like me, that's unacceptable.
I will just stick to my MetroFi 170s. They aren't quite as comfortable, but the backs are ported and offer a whole lot more bass. And, they were much cheaper.

First of all, I picked these up on sale at best buy for around $40, and I was expecting average quality headphones at best. But when I plugged these in for the first time I was absolutely blown away. The high's couldn't be any better and the mid's don't disappoint either. The bass leaves a little bit to be desired, but with the proper EQ settings I can get the exact sound I want.
I have had these for about six months now and that is about four months longer than most headphones last, the cord and connector do look a bit flimsy but so far they have held up to a substantial amount of abuse.
Overall these headphones have proved to be an excellent choice for me, if you feel high quality bass is an absolute priority they may not be for you, but with the mid's and high's on these I am more than satisfied.

I had bought the Lady Gaga headphones and returned them for these because they did not stay in my ears. These fit fine in my ears, i was able to work out with them and they didnt fall out but i think that was the only thing i liked about them. I tried changing the EQ on my ipod and nothing worked, the bass is horrible. I have some $10 headphones as backup and they dont sound great either but I preffer listening to those, at least until I find better ones. Not sure about the durability but chord does look pretty filmzy. Do not buy, you will regret it.

I had intended to get the lower end Metrofi series earbuds but they were out of stock.
These are rightfully rated qutie high on various sites.
The sound is great, they have excellent clarity and are generally well balanced. I would like a bit more low end punch, but that is difficult to get in this type of application.

The sound quality of these are better than all of my other earbuds, and I have used a bunch. If you fit well with Shure and Sony, these will fit you fine. They do not have the buzz that Shures does during low volume and they have better fidelity than most Sonys. At a sale price of $60, these are a steal. Buy them.

purchased these because I needed a set of small in ear-phones. I'm used to using regular headphones like sennheiser, koss, and even skullcandy(although skullcandy isn't quality). So after looking around for a bit I decided on the superfi 4's and I couldn't be happier. I've tried the klipsch s4's and various shure earphones, but these sound much better and balanced than other two. The issue with bass lacking, yes straight out of the box they are not bass heavy, but after a few hours of play they tend to wake up and the deep end does emphasize a bit more, not overbearing but it's enjoyable. Plus the comfort of these things with the comply foam is amazing they don't even feel like they're in my ears.

Most earbuds I have purchased do not stay in my ears very well, these do. The sound quality is great and blocks out all surrounding noise.

First, let me start with the fact that I've sold high-quality audio. I own high quality audio. I love audio. Music is part of my life (a good part). So, with that in mind, let's delve into the different aspects of these headphones.
Design: 6/10
These look okay. They aren't the stylish buds I've ever seen, but they also aren't obnoxious. They're small, and don't protrude too far from your head. So, they're pretty neutral on the style portion.
Comfort: 1/10
These will not sit properly in my ears no matter which tips or what I do. The left ear gets an okay fit but the right CONTINUALLY falls out. Because of this, the sound is extremely heavy on the left and not on the right. They come with two sets of foam ear pieces, but even these don't fit right (I don't see how it's possible, but sure enough, it happens). Without a proper fit, you will not have the best sound quality. This in itself is a reason not to buy them.
Sound Quality: 4/10
This may seem misleading because how can a $130 pair of headphones have a 4/10 sound rating? It breaks down like this:
-treble: 9/10
-mids: 6/10
-bass: 1/10
Honestly, I don't understand how any pair of headphones considered "high end" can have almost no bass. Now, before you begin saying "he must be one of those bass loving idiots who have six 11-teen inch subs in his car!". This is not true. I prefer balanced sound. I enjoy having excellent highs, warm, buttery mids and thumpy but balanced bass. If these were to overpower on the lows, I would have an equal reaction. The mids are okay but with no bass, they even lack. However, the highs are out-of-this-world. They are so clear and roll at exactly the right moment. However, with virtually no bass to speak of, it doesn't cut the mustard.
Quality: 5/10
The cord seems too flimsy, and the connector is small. Everything seems quite cheap except the bud housing. It's made of some sort of metal (aluminum, maybe?). So, for $130, I would not consider this a well-built pair.
Overall: 4/10
While these may have exemplary highs, the lack of mid-level and bass audio, mixed with the uncomfortable and inadequate fit, mean I cannot recommend these to anyone. I would highly recommend you try the Klipsch Image S4 (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Klipsch+-+Image+S4+Earbud+Headphones/9422369.p?id=1218105502820&skuId=9422369). They are considerably less ($79.99 retail) and are far superior on the low end of the sound while maintaining excellent quality highs. Plus, they are unbelievably comfortable. It's pretty much impossible not to get a great fit with the Klipsch.
