    I remember when the Matrix come out on DVD and how good it looked. Well get ready to see the Matrix in a whole new level. The picture is crisp and the greens of the Matrix, and blues of the real look amazing. The only problem is that none of the special features have been remastered. In fact, the 4th case, which contains the Matrix 'Databank' is in standard DVD format. I expected at the very least to have a set that is completely on HDDVD. Unfortunately this means the Animatrix is not in HD. But the 3 movies look spectacular. It will easily be a movie you'll want to show off to friends.

    This is the version to buy if you are an ultimate matrix fan. I love the movies and didnt need the animated movie and all the extras so I bought the regular HD Dvd trilogy. Either is a must have.
