This really is an excellent DVD. I recommend it to all Japanese series fans. Ultra Q is the first series that opened the door for Tokusatsu series. I'm very satisfied.

Sometimes a simple idea is a great idea. There is monster. How will everyday people deal with it without a super hero??? Stay tuned to find out. These 25 minute monster movies are a real charm.

If you're a fan of Japanese monster movies like Godzilla, Mothra, etc, you really should check out these Ultraman-related series. They're so fun to watch.

Ultra Q was Godzilla co-creator and special effects director Eiji Tsuburaya’s first attempt at a giant monster TV series and at the time. Mill Creek Entertainment put a lot of effort into this release and it shows.

Great retro Japanese show about supernatural phenomenon. Steelbook is very nice. Digital copy is oddly through a different provider than norm. Video quality very good. Japanese with English subtitles. Sadly no English dub which is why only 4 stars.

This is the first series before Ultraman that's more like X-Files, so you may like it if you're into that, except they investigate monsters.

I rememer this show from my childood… the monsters, the destruction…set the stage for ultra serirs to come!

A style its very own, Japanese anime is quite unique and while it may take some getting used to for newbie's, it really is quite good.

A little cheesy but surprisingly still holds up pretty well. If you can suspend your imagination with some of the cheese, it's quite good. I never knew this was the show that preceded Ultraman what made me want to try this out.

This is classic Japanese sci-fi with cheesy monsters and plenty of destruction. I found it quite enjoyable.

This shoe has great atmosphere scenes and story. Blu ray picture looks great.

Bought it for my son's birthday and he has been having a great time watching it. Says it is the start of the Ultraman series, because it is in Black and white.

Very good transfer to Bluray from DVD. Steel book edition as well. Great bargain.

Nice looking Steelbook that comes with an outer plastic sleeve. The discs are packed weirdly tight and they can be hard to remove, but everything is in good shape.

Take my money. This set is very nice and takes me back to a simpler time in life.
