Old battery?

It was probably sitting around for years since I have an iphone 4s. The good thing was that the battery came with the tools to make the change out--so maybe it was a fluke.

Posted .Hello , Iphone 4 S is a popular replacement battery for us . I am not sure it was sitting around for a long time . When you replace it , let me know if you are not satisfied and I will send you a new one - NO CHARGE -

Wrong Tool

They did not receive tools needed to replace battery, BB responded that they would begin supplying tools. I received two screwdrivers, a Phillips which is needed and a slotted which is not. I did not receive the pentalobe screwdriver required to remove the back cover of the iPhone 4. If they are going to supply the tools with the battery, they should include the correct tools. I called customer service and was bounced around a few times for over an hour. Finally call was dropped.

Looking at the enclosed picture you would think the tools to open the case come with it. Don't be surprised when you receive the battery only.....no tools are enclosed.

Posted .Your right!!! do you need the tools sent to you. warehouse has been instructed to make sure tools are sent in future. Sorry for the problem.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received and installed my new battery 4/22/16. all tools needed came with the battery. it was not difficult to install, and took about 30 minutes. I have not noticed a difference from the old battery charge. the phone still does not hold a charge very long. although I can not say for certain whether this was a bad battery or a problem with the phone itself. for the price, it is still worth a shot and the cheapest option I could find.

Best Buy simply state that they do not accept returns for batteries. Even for a clearly faulty product. So save yourself the hassle you "Best Buy" somewhere else.
