    When I was a youngster I watched this movie every time it came on tv. In my humble opinion it is in the top 30 westerners of all time. Burt Lancaster gives another sterling performance. This movie portrays the West the way it really was, it is stark, gritty, and honest. I am so happy this great movie was finally put on blu-ray!

    Excellent, edgy (for it's day) Western starring Burt Lancaster. The movie is has the gritty tinge of realism with some wonderful acting.

    Great action flic with epic Western scenes and of course Burt Lancaster at his best! Highly recommend it if you like Westerns!
