Love this scooter! It works just like the descriptions say. My daughter is taking this to college but has done some test runs while at home. The horn is silly but the rest of the functions are great.

Very nice scooter, curb side delivery was a breeze. Fast, courtesy, and very efficient. Scooter works great, got this for the wife, wanted a slower safer scooter. Kaabo Wolf Warrior Pro is the other scooter.

very good especially if you get it on sale great quality. not fast on steeper hills...it'll crawl, but overall really good. get the upgraded dual motor if you have a lot of hills.

This is a very sleek looking electric scooter. It is one of the lightest ones on the market, although it is still a little heavy for my 100-lb daughter to lug around. The only negative thing I would say about this scooter is that it has no shock absorber at all, so you experience bumps on the road A LOT, but it is a very nice scooter!

Had that for almost a year, its very good. The downside is suspension, it wont be a smooth ride if you’re driving it over a road with a lot of cracks, joints, etc.

I really want to start my review off with "Weeeeee!!" because seriously, haven't had so much fun for a long time. This is my first electric scooter and I am still smiling and laughing from all the fun I had. The setup of the Unagi was straightforward. The handles are the only part you need to attach out of the box and it comes with screws and a screwdriver-type tool. I charged it overnight before first use, the charger is a brick style (like a laptop) and uses a proprietary USB-looking but not USB plug. The Unagi folds down easily, there are two easy-to-move latches. That said, it's also solid, the handle feels strong and secure. The Unagi weighs in at 26lb, so based on carrying weight it's definitely an adult scooter and wouldn't be suitable for kids. Which is fine by me, I don't have to share at home! When the handle is folded, the steering locks - which means it's easy, if not heavy, to carry. I should note, you can't lock the Unagi scooter with a chain. You need a cinch lock if you don't want to carry it everywhere. There is no lock included (not a complaint, just FYI). There's also no carry satchel but you can buy them separately (not a complaint, just FYI). There are 3 gears. 1st Gear maxes out at 5Mph which felt fast until I got confidence, top gear maxes out at 15mph and you're really flying. Seriously, wear a helmet and don't do this if there is pedestrian traffic. You can move faaasst. My first ride 5Mph seemed fast, but after a while I preferred much faster. haha. Speed is controlled by a right paddle that you move with your thumb. I found it easy to manage my speed. The brakes are good. There's a hand brake (left paddle) and you can foot brake the back wheel - which is honestly better and slows you faster. Unagi has wheels that don't need air. So they are puncture-resistant. I'm fortunate as the streets around me have good sidewalks and are smooth. So the ride for me was smooth. I can't comment on hills, as around me is flat but on small inclines, I didn't experience any issues but I had built up some good speed beforehand. Other things to know. The display on the handle is great and easy to read in direct sunlight. I like that if you're not using the motor and use it like a scooter it will still show you your speed (cool). So you can use this as a manual scooter when you need. There's a headlight, which is super bright but personally, I don't think I will ride at night (there's also an electronic rear light). There's no Bluetooth or app, so no firmware updates or pairing you need to worry about. The horn is probably the only opportunity for improvement. It's just unimpressive and sounds like a menu beep on any electronic device. Seriously, the Unagi scooter is so much fun. Buy it.

I bought one for each of us for Christmas (5 of them) . We haven't been able to use it outside yet due to weather, but it looks like lots of fun. My husband liked that it was so easy to put together. So far, no complaints. I will update this once we are able to get them outside.
