I have to purchase a flip phone for my mother every time I get her a new phone. She is 91 years old and cannot operate a smart phone. You would not believe how hard it is to find flip phones nowadays. Best Buy had a couple of them And they were similar to the one she has now.

We got this phone as an alternative to a smart phone with a higher monthly cost. Do not need more than a simple phone.

My father lost the phone before we could even use it. I just wish that the cell phones phone companies could make a small cellphone with push button keyboard, a very simple one 4G or 5G contacts, voice mail, camera and text for seniors that their minds are going.

Plays MP3s, has microSD storage, but....

....you can't play any MP3s on your microSD card. I'm trying to get off of my smart phone because it just consumes too much of my time. I'm pretty tech savvy, but I could not find a way to play MP3s off of my microSD card. I couldn't even access the microSD card. It's like you can only use it as a storage device and read/write files when it's plugged into a computer.

Only a problem phone

My DORO 7050 has been nothing but a problem phone. The top 2/3 of front screen has lines through it. The major problem is that the buttons freeze sometimes several times a day. The only way to fix is to remove and replace the battery. One thing I hate is changing ringer volume is difficult. If you have to do it often it is a pain. Plus the text buttons are very different from any other phone I have used. Difficult to learn, many times I have accidentally sent messages early. A big pain will be that I cannot export phone numbers to new phone by using Bluetooth. , but I was able to import from my other phone.

I got 3 at the same time and now will replace them after only a month or two. You need to pull the battery prior to using them and that is not easy for someone with arthritis. This would not be necessary if the design team had not decided to force a confirmation on the shutdown.
