It actually does a pretty decent zoom! Fiddly to get focused though, the act of adjusting the zoom, wiggles it and dislodges it's placement on the camera. Hard to hold lens still, while holding the phone, and looking through it turning the lens adjustment. Should have come with a little bag or something to store it so as not to lose the end caps. But once you do get everything set, it worked well, for a reasonable price.

The design is not very good on the spring arm that holds the lense on the phone. It is too loose and therefore when you go to focus the lense it moves it off the phone lense. You have to awkwardly try and hold the lense and phone and try to focus all at the same time.

I am a longtime photography lover and like to do nature scenes. I have a nice collection of amateur and professional quality cameras and telephotos. However I wanted an adapter for my samsung galaxy in times where the equipment was not available. This little telephoto does a surprisingly nice job in a pinch. Note though that it is a focusing 8x telephoto, NOT a zoom lens. You can zoom digitally with the phone camera features if you wish. Overall it is a nice pocketable accessory.

Not a zoom lens as description states. Does ok but not really worth carrying extra parts

Can't even set it up to take pictures on the cell it does suck

I bought this lens hoping to get great shots but the lens doesn't sit well with the phone case I have.
