When I left my other charger behind on my vacation, I needed to start looking for something to charge my battery in my camera. Given Sony's reputation for being proprietary, I was resigned to shelling out whatever they wanted for the replacement charger. I was pleased to find out there was an alternative that was not only cheaper (about 60% the cost of OEM) it also charged faster. However the real cost is that this is a lot bulkier (since there are so many attachments for different kinds of batteries it is built modular) and is also bigger on the base because it is designed to work in Europe and in the US. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone needing a spare for travels abroad or looking for a replacement. I am just trying to figure out if I should keep all the attachments that came with it or not... Who knows what battery my next camera will use. I might be able to use it again for that one.

this works fine for my DSC-T7 battery, the NP-FE1. You have to use the correct insert to fit the battery, but it does charge this battery. Simple red/green indicator tells me when its done. The extra slides for other batteries are a pain to store, but it works. Cheapest sony charger I could find ( that didn't look extra sketchy).

Forgot my charger while visiting grandchildren. Because of the distance between us i cherish all the photos I can take while we are together. This charger works faster and easier than the original. The camara should have come with this accessory!

I believe this charger is too expensive. However, it does work as advertised, and it's quick.

Great replacement for lost battery chargers. Comes with many face plates to accomodate many batteries. Check list to ensure that your battery will fit. Great for travel, US and abroad.

Will not work for Sony battery NP-FE1. Please remove from list of applicable batteries! On the box it actually does not list my battery, so it's just the item description on the bestbuy website that is wrong. Please fix. Thanks!
