The Good: Uncharted is a fantastic game. The graphics are unbelieveable. The controls are very easy to adapt to and there is nothing tricky about them. I was already comfortable playing this game, even after just playing the demo through a few times. Its also realy cool being able to use the sixaxis. You use it when walking on trees/bridges and you use to aim the arch of the grenades. The sixaxis is kinda hard to figure out with the bridges, but it really brings you deeper into the game with the grenades. Throughout the game, you learn more and more about the characters. It really feels like you are playing out a movie (Indiana Jones?). As you beat each level, a movie clip plays leading you into the next level, giving the game that movie feel and then there is that factor of what is gonna happen next. This game is really exciting. The Bad: Like I said in my cons, I beat the game 3 days after I got it and I haven't played it since. But I really don't care. I know im gonna play it again someday and even if I don't, this game is just that good. Another bad thing is the camera angles. A lot of games do have bad camera angles, so this really isn't anything unexpected. Overall: Great game. Get it, ask for it, do anything to get our hands on this game. its worth it.

Uncharted has beautiful graphics, and nice game play. But it is very short I Completed it in 15 hours and falling and dieing will get old vary fast. It has a vary good story has fun medals to work for to unlock weapons and videos. This is the rating I would give it. (out of 10) Graphics 9.5 Story 9.0 Game play 9.0 Replay value 8.0 Overall 9.5

reviewing this game is funny, because i wanted to give it a 5. it is THAT good. however, there are parts of it (basically the final 1/4th of the game) that completely fall off. but, like i said, the game is THAT good, so it overcomes that. the great thing about Uncharted is the graphics, cut scenes, and movie-like quality. without exaggeration, there were times where i literally thought the characters looked like real people in the cut scenes. the gameplay graphics are great as well, no problem there. probably the most fun in the game is when you scale walls/cliffs/anything else that can be climbed; it's like Prince of Persia in that aspect, except it's a lot smoother, easier, and quicker. you just jump and he makes it. but it looks real in the process, not fake or forced. the story (the first 3/4ths) is amazing as well. i won't get into it, but it's good. characters are all amazing too, voices and all. and just for good measure, they throw in some shooting too, mostly at pirates and crooks, to keep it fun. it doesn't get overdone, though, just enough to keep you on your toes and practice your aim. and hiding behind walls/boxes/anything is also great, too. now, to the bad part, and the reason why it didn't get a 5. through most of the game, you'll LOVE everything about it--graphics, music, story, characters, gameplay, controls, everything. it just comes together perfectly and smoothly. then, towards the end, it's like they throw the story and the fun out the window. sure, the story still ends up making sense, but it's cheesy. it turns into a Max Payne meets Resident Evil type of game, and the story never gets back on track (as far as it being enjoyable). like i said, this is near the end of the game, so you'll LOVE the first 75% of it, but when it gets to all the shooting, shooting, and more shooting, it just feels like a shooter without a story and not an action movie. so when the game is finished, you'll feel unsatisfied with the end, even though it's a happy ending. all in all, you'll love this game, because even with the bad parts, it's still so good that it ovecomes them. just be prepared for a bit of a letdown towards the end (unless you like that type of mess--i don't), and you'll be fine. but still, this game is worth playing. i'd rent it, though, because it doesn't seem to have much replay value, as good as it is.

Simply put, this is a great game. It's gorgeous, the story is interesting, easy & fun to play. The puzzles you have to solve are moderate, not too hard, not too easy. If anything, the game is a little short & sometimes the number of baddies you have to fit is a little overwhelming...but, still a fun game!!

This was my first game wiht PS3 - what a blast. The graphics, story line and sound will immerse you into the stroy and take you on a wild ride through Drake's adventure. The graphics in the Jungle are mind blowing, shadows and all make it a very enjoyable game to play.

I played the demo and dudes and dudettes I gotta tell ya I'm ubber impressed with the AI of this game and the graphics are stunning and so reeeeeal... If you like an adventure and I mean a good one...and who doesn't then this game is a must buy. I love the way the enemy slowly gains ground while you hide behind a pillar and just when the time is right POP...right between the eyes and down they go. You can even take them out from great distances with automatic weapons or you can go hand to hand combat up close and personal. On top of all that your gonna love the way the enviorments are so lifelike with the water effects and ground effects not to mention cool sound effects... On a note...If you have never played this type of game before you really owe it to yourself to try this out. You may be amazed as to how easy the controls are and just how caught up in this whurl-wind adventure you WILL actually get.

I really enjoyed playing this game. I tried the demo and thought it was pretty good but my friend recommended it and I decided to go ahead and pick it up, I'm glad I did. The graphics gave this game the atmosphere that fit like a glove for the genre. This game has the best water simulation I've seen in a game yet (going up river chapter). The different boards are fun to play through and beautiful to look at. The controls are responsive and forgiving, which is awesome for those who don't like relentless platforming. There are a lot of "treasures" to find during the game, they unlock extras at the title screen. There are weapon associated objectives and such that will unlock extras as well. Finding treasures isn't too easy, but after the first few you find it's pretty easy to guess where others will end up. I found all but 6 the first time I played through this game. One thing I really like about this game is that some of the extras you can unlock can effect the game when you play through a second time. You can have the appearance of other characters in the game instead of Nathan, you can also play the "mirror image" of the game so it will seem different the next time through since everything is laid out the opposite as it was originally. What I didn't like about this game was how short it was. Although it seems the norm now for next gen games to be a little short, I was still wanting/expecting more right after I beat it....but then again this game was made to be played through multiple times. Even though it's short I still recommend this game.

I did this game on easy and it was a blast!! Would play it again to find all the hidden treasures. Great graphics and easy to learn controls. I enjoy the fact that you don't have to go and find health if you are wounded. The story and characters are great, all except near the end with the "monsters". I didn't really like that level at all. All in all a great game and I am excited for Uncharted 2.

This game was amazing from start to finish, the story never lets down. Seeing that this game was made by the same creators as Crash Bandicoot it isnt to suprising that this game looks very much alike. If you loved the crash games when you where a kid you will love uncharted. This would by far be the best adventure game out for the PS3 so far. Even though the graphics is set at 720P the game still looks amazing. The creators put alot of deatil into every aspect of the game. With the ending I wouldnt be suprised to see sequels coming out for this title. This game is very much in the same blood as the Tomb Raider and Syphon Filtor franchises which also came out many titles to its name. For non stop adventure game fans or someone who wants to break into the genre Uncharted Drake's Fortune will not disappoint.

This is a gorgeous game that will entrance you from beginning to end. The characters are well-written and enjoyable, the plot is intriguing, and the action is well paced. Lara Croft could take some lessons from Nathan Drake. It's very much an Indiana Jones formula: humor, a likeable everyman, a mystical relic, some twists along the way, and of course a hint of romance tossed in for good measure. There are a few downsides, however. Being such a narrative-driven story means it can be very linear and doesn't offer much in the way of replay value. Trophies were recently added to try and help this, but it's not a whole lot of incentive. Also, I believe it only goes to 720p, so anyone hoping for a 1080 experience will be let down... however the graphics are still something to behold.

I was looking for a game and then i saw uncharted. the reviews were saying it going to be a classic and so i bought, wow were they right, this game is litterly like a blockbuster movie. this is the best story line in a video game i have ever played. to top it all off the graphics are so amazing. especially for a (pretty much) launch title. with the fantastic game play comes a wonderful 3rd person shotter. everyone says they copied gears of war, i think they improved it. the only complaint i have is the ending. i think i peaed my paints a little. but i thought it really added that extra "muaa" to the story. great job naughty dog. i cant not wait to get the sequel!

This is my personal favorite game. I like this game better than any game out because of the way the game is when you play it. You feel like you are right there, with Nathan Drake trying to find the treasure. This game has great graphics and I love the sounds in this game. The cutscenes are also very good, and I normally hate them. The characters also do a great job to make this game better. The other characters actually help you out without you controlling them. This game is short and there is no online, but you can still play it through it again because of the treasures you can find. This game is a must buy game for the PS3 and is the best game ever.

This was the first game I played on PS3 and it didn't disappoint. Great graphics, real good storyline, good controls. The movie cuts are cool. This is a must for any PS3 owner.

Uncharted is easily my favorite game released so far for PS3. It sets a new graphical bar where console games are concerned (IMHO), and despite a couple of small flaws, the gameplay is just as good as the graphics. Gamers who thought that PS3 would never be able to compete with 360 after Gears of War owe it to themselves to play through this game. The two are actually quite similar in some respects (third-person, cover system, context-sensitive actions), but in the end, Uncharted offers an experience all its own. Pretty good story for an action game, too. Overall, highly recommended to everyone.

This is the best Action/Adventure title for the PS3. Graphics are simply awesome, worlds are huge and full with detail!! The Gameplay is really good, shooting, running, jumping, fighting, everything works really really good. Sometimes you may just get really outnumbered but it is nothing that you can't handle, just don't stay in a same place too long. Keep moving, shooting, running and fighting and you should be fine. The storyline is quite nice, original and keeps you playing for hours just to find out what is gonna happen next!! I highly recommend this game for everyone who owns a PS3!!!

Cool action game, a great alternative to just shooting war games. Beautiful graphics, easy to learn. This game has puzzles, treasures, and shooting. Puzzles are some way too easy, and the treasures are hard to find. I would get a walk-thru book so that you don't miss any treasures.

The BEST game i have ever played. Even 3 yrs after it has come out, it is still amazing! If you havent gotten this game yet, you have no idea what you have been missing. Great graphics and awesome storyline. The characters keep you into the game also, VERY WELL MADE!!! And its going for a pretty good price too, not too shabby. ANYWAYS, its a great game, u'll love it.

I got this game new right when it was coming out and i have to say i was worried when i was getting it. But i started playing i was hooked. this game was very addicting, challenging and crazy fun. This game has the best storyline i have ever seen in a game. At times in this game you will beat a level and you think to yourself that was intense. then the next level is even better. It was i little tough to maneuver yourself at times but when you accomplished something you had a good feeling afterwards. I reccomend this game to everyone that has a sense of adventure.

If you want an action/adventure game, I highly recommend Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. I got really into the story line in this game and couldn't put the controller down because I wanted to find out what happened next. The shootouts were manageable with the right strategy, not overwhelming as some games are. Overall a great game, that is exciting, and sometimes will give you the heebee jeebees! Graphics were great. I would recommend this game to anyone, along with Assassin's Creed. I hope they come out with a sequel, because I will be getting it.

This is one of the must-have games for the ps3, the story is great, the graphics are awesome and the gameplay is very very good! You don't have a health bar per say in this game, it simply "recharges" when your out of fire, so no hunting for health tokens and whatnot. As I'm not that good with a ps controller I really like how drake's fortune makes it easy to use. The difficulty level between easy, normal and hard are big enough to provide a good challenge the second time around. It's a tomb raider like game, only much much better!
