    A simple straigfht forward example of "never leave a man behind" philosophy that so many American men and Women of our armed forces live by in real life. The politics of expediency and its betrayal are evident in the movie's story. there are no bonus features or trailers to enjoy.

    Well produced "assemble the team" commando yarn. Great cast and direction. Disc looks great but unfortunately lacks any extras.

    I haven't seen the movie yet but from what my mother in law says it is probably really good. But I have yet to see but I am sure it's a good war movie.

    Ted Kotcheff continues his First Blood fervor with Uncommon Valor. Gene Hackman stars as Cal Rhodes, a former Marine Colonel who has been getting the run-around for ten years from the government... 5-5

    I thought the performances were good in this movie about a retired colonel (Gene Hackman) putting together a recon-team to try and rescue his POW son in Laos. Also stars Patrick Swayze in one of his earlier roles. Widescreen, recommended.
