Under Siege 2: Dark Territory is solid entertainment, nothing more, and nothing less. It's the prototypical action movie with plenty of clichéd characters and scenes, but it all comes together to make a film action lovers will enjoy every now and again, once the film has faded from memory. It's a worthy sequel to a fine first effort. It doesn't surpass its predecessor in any way, but that's alright. Casey Ryback borders on being a memorable action icon, and one more solid Under Siege film may have solidified him as one of the more recognizable and marketable characters of the 1990s. Unfortunately, Seagal's career soon took a turn for the worse and to date, no further Under Siege films are available. Warner Brothers' Blu-ray release of Under Siege 2: Dark Territory is a minor disappointment. Offering decent picture quality and a loud, aggressive, but jumbled soundtrack lacking any polish, and a handful of trailers as the only bonus materials, this disc is for hardcore Seagal fans only.

US2:DT is pretty great. A solid followup to an already good movie. Casey Ryback the chef/Navy SEAL is back and shows a softer side. When not taking care of the customers in his restaurant that apparently only come to see/talk to him, he is meeting his late brother's daughter for a trip on a train. This ones a beauty I won't want to spoil. Highlights are Big Ed from Twin Peaks as the bad guy as well as some fun hand-to-hand CQC. Highly recommend.

This is a great one but the first one under siege was a little better but can’t complain about this one loved it but I wish they showed a little more areas instead of being on a train all throughout the movie

You can totally tell Katherine Heigl was born bad. Seems like a bigger douche than Seagull.

This movie reminds me of friday the 13th, except instead of jason killing idioy teens, steven segal is killing idiot terrorists. at no point in this movie do you fear for segal's safety, but that's a huge part of the movie's charm. a must see for anybody who doesn't hate great films.

Not worth it, save for the fight scenes

The fight scenes were good, its Segal as the same old character, only this one has a name to match Under Siege 1, other than that, its the same persona as all the other movies. Story makes no sense, and the character doesn't fit in. It's the Die Hard Wrong Place at the Wrong Time scenario, but with martial arts, and on a train. This movie is to Segal, as Snakes on a Plane is to Sam Jackson, only not nearly as funny. I personally find Under Siege 1 to be my favorite Segal Film, but tied to his early work, this one however, thouroughly dissappoints. Pretend it didn't happen and just casually watch it on tv, or go for a bargain rental.

In my opinion, the first 'Under Siege' wasn't that great, so it came as no surprise to me that this sequel wasn't any better. Widescreen for those who enjoyed it.
