This Sci Fi independent film directed by Jonathan Glazer features Scarlett Johansson as an alien that seduces and kills men. Cinematography is beautiful, mesmerizing and frightening but the perspective is how an alien would view our humanity.

Along the lines of ex-machina and other more cerebral Sci Fi movies. I'm pretty sure the stranger things guys got the scenes of eleven in that in-between black background world from here. Definitely worth watching.

There are no *labels* appropriate for this film. It cannot be categorized. Scarlett Johansson as Laura is perfection. A film a John Sayles or a Jim Jarmusch would be gratified to be associated with. Recommended.

A very different kind of Horror/Sci-fi movie starring Scarlett Johansson. It feels like a movie that would be shown on the Twilight Zone (without the narration). Visually and audio great and the price was great.

This is an exceptional film, and it is very well done. The photography, acting, special effects, and story come together nicely. I don't want to even hint at the plot/story as doing so would detract from your enjoyment.

its an ok movie not one of my faves actually it was kind of boring.

An original take on a classic science fiction trope (alien invasion) tho not for everyone . this slow burn is beautifully shot and a well acted gem. worth the watch for any fans of indie movies or the science fiction genre.

This is a strange little Scottish film and it lives up to its namesake, because if you let this film in and watch with full attention it leaves a residue on you that takes sometime to shift.

Under The Skin is a movie about an alien who takes the human form who eventually starts to feel as if--(I haven't seen it yet). I just need the points, but will put an actual review when I watch it.

This was a cool release and well priced ($6), but I’m not a fan of these cheap eco cases. The digital release also expired several years ago.

Scarlet Johanson plays her role well. The movie is slow paced but a great watch with an original script and premise. As Johanson plays someone not of this world who kills travelers to assume their identities.

The story is only 3 stars, but i give it 4 for art direction. Well filmed, beautiful locations, good fx. hard to follow story. not fully explained as to why what was going on was happening.

Amazing and almost experimental exploration of what it's like to be an alien slave or possibly robot programmed to capture humans. Very well done and possibly Scarlett Johansson's best work

Jonathan Glazer, who co-wrote and directed UNDER THE SKIN, has found in Scarlett Johansson the perfect otherworldly woman to fill the main role. Her beauty, despite a frumpy wig and ill-fitting clothing here, is supernatural and Johansson is expressive and kinetic even as she seems removed and devoid of feeling. She does an excellent job bringing the role to life. The film is a stylized, ambitious production that deserves respect for trying to skirt the usual conventions of the thriller-horror genre while still telling a thrilling and horrific story.

An interesting sci fi with minimal dialog which makes following the plot challenging. As a bonus you get to see Scarlet in the buff.

A very different movie than most. This film really makes you think and keeps you guessing. I was on the edge of my seat through most of it. Definitely worth checking out.

Scarlett is exceptional as usual, didn't need to see all the male hard ons, one gets the point across just fine, loved the artistic adaptation and idea of an alien's point of view throughout.

Possible spoilers ahead I went into this not knowing what to expect. I don't typically enjoy horror movies, but I do like the actress. This movie had a slow pace and the ending didn't really resolve the story. It was very graphic, so I don't recommend it for families with children.

I needed some new Sci Fi movies to have marathons with, and I picked this solely because it has Scarlett Johansson in it. Well worth the $10 it cost me. It checked all the boxes I was looking for Sci Fi:check Alien killing humans:check Scarlett Johansson:check
