I liked the overall theme of movie, but strongly disliked the music. My opinion is the music was a distraction! The music did not match that era, so it kind of conflicted with what was happening in the movie. I watched the first 2 parts & maybe half of 3rd episode & stopped. I just couldn't watch anymore. The longer the movie got, the more it was frustrating, because I wanted to like the movie. The acting of the light complexion young lady(sorry, can't remember name) was ok at first but as movie continued, it became obvious that her acting ability was lacking for the role she was playing.

I love this serie. Wanted to watch the first season again before the next one.

I really enjoyed this series. Can't wait until next series is available.

I wasted my money and would not buy the second one.

The first few episodes looked promising, In episode #10, “White Whale” The murderous slave master; who in the end is revenged by hanging. Question? Is this movie written based on a true story. How realistic are these depictions. The question is the historical authenticity. Good entertainment.
