What I would consider as TOOL's first foray into the mainstream. A must have for TOOL enthusiasts.

This is quintessential Tool. Before they went off the deep end into the whole prog rock thing - trying to fit as many hidden messages in Morse code and timing signatures that sound like a semi-truck traveling down the highway with one broken wheel. If you don't know who Tool is, buy this record and work your way to the present. Then go back and buy the Opiate EP to remember how wonderful they were compared to now. The vinyl pressing is the standard Volcano reissue. Lost my original in a flood and buying back for my library. The band has mentioned reissuing their entire discography on vinyl and remastered (early 2019) but seeing how it took them over 13 years to release their latest record, Fear Inoculum (Aug 30 2019), and they still haven't provided a vinyl release for that (Sept 27th 2019), I wouldn't hold your breath on a new remastered version. Just buy this one and call it a day.

Even though there was at least one release before Undertow, this is the album that really caught a lot of people's attention where I grew up. I enjoyed the CD when it first came out, and so when I saw the record I had to snap it up. The recording is crisp, clean and has a level of warmth to it that my CD didn't. The songs are just as good as I remember, even if I can't listen to the album while my daughter is home. If you don't have this on Vinyl, I would recommend it.

This is the sophmore Album from G.O.A.T. band TOOL. This album is incredible. If you never have listened to it, stop everything youre doing right now and blast this through nice speakers or headphones. You won't regret it

I feel that this release by Tool is very righteous to begin with, but you get yourself the vinyl and you got something special. You like righteous stuff? Get this.

Im just getting into vinyl and this was a must to start the collection.

Tool is an awesome band. So complex, all such excellent musicians. Having their music on vinyl makes it even more incredible to listen to.

One of the beat albums by tool .you Won’t be disappointed

Undertow, It brought us Sober, the song that launched Tool into the stratosphere. I’d go higher than five stars if they’d let me.

One of the best rock albums of the entire decade!!

Starting off, this is one of my favorite albums of all time. Having just started to get into vinyl records for playing, I figured it would be a great idea to get one of my favorite band's vinyls since they were obviously made to sound good right? WRONG, this is the worst quality vinyl i've purchased so far. There are visible 'dents' in the record itself, but the packaging is immaculate so it was not done during transportation at least. Both of the LP's also look like a BMX Bike Course when they're playing. Very uneven and an EXTREME amount of surface noise. Definitely returning ASAP
