A great follow up to a great movie, not ad good as the original but still worth it

saw this one on sale and had to add it to my collection

I like the story's flow in the first two installments to the saga very much. I got this movie awhile back, but could not find it at the time...so I got It again. I like the back story and build of characters. The first two installments to this saga I think are the most thought out and important parts to the saga made...as each film after retraces back to these two first installments for reasons in the aftermath.

Under cover of night, vampires engage in an age-old battle with their sworn enemies, the Lycans, a clan of violent werewolves. Selene (Kate Beckinsale), a vampire orphaned in the wake of a bloody Lycan attack, works for the vampire clan as a trained killer. When the Lycans take a mysterious interest in Michael Corvin (Scott Speedman), an exceptional mortal doctor, Selene struggles to save him from Lucian (Michael Sheen), a ruthless Lycan leader hellbent on ending the vampire bloodline. Better than Twilight.

Underworld Evolution is by far, my favorite Underworld movie. 2nd in the series, this movie delivers more than the first, builds upon it, and successfully outdid its predecessor. The other titles are good but not excellent. Other titles in the same genre. I feel cannot hold a candle to this movie. It is action-packed, romantic, horrifying, and thrilling.

This movie extensively features the characters of Selene and Micheal from the previous movie in the series, making it an interesting watch for the character and story development of these two characters. Moreover, it has great action sequences that are a blast to watch. The Steelbook itself looks amazing, having an awesome drawing as the artwork which features a scene from within the movie. Overall, this makes a great addition to any Steelbook collection.

Movie: Picking up directly after the first one, Underworld: Evolution expands the story with Selene's origin as she and Michael engage in conflict with characters only mentioned in the previous film. Steelbook: This franchise proves that steelbooks don't need interior artwork all the time. A vibrant solid color is used for each film. The blu-ray itself is the same disk used for the 2006 release.

What I liked about this movie is it showed a little more info about the Lycans and Vampires. I liked how beastly Markus looked and that Selene got some more powers in this. The action's pretty cool and the history was nice to see. It also showed Selene's background a bit more. If you liked the first one you'll like this one.

I thought I had already purchased all the “Underworld” sequels. But I found out I was missing this one. So of course, Best Buy had it at a great price and I bought it. Thanks, Best Buy

Another one of the "Pop Art" steelbooks, it is a good addition for any collector. The sequel movie to the original Underworld about the war between Vampires and Werewolves, need I say more? If you haven't seen this by now, you need to.

Great story and amazing scenery in this amazing world of Underworld. Good back story to the characters and how they came to be. Really love the new artwork on the cover makes it really pop at you.

The underworld saga continues in Underworld:Evolution, the second film in the series. Great special effects as vampires and werewolves continue their clash. The Blu Ray disc comes in limited edition steel book packaging.

i have always enjoyed this franchise so happy to have these films in my blu ray collection. love the slip cover. came on time and damage free.

Awesome series! I really enjoyed watching this series and I was happy to grab a deal of the day on the Steelbook Blu Rays. The Steelbooks are rare and pretty cool collectible.

following the first movie, this one starts off with the first vampire waking and he is NOT happy. chases galore, an epic showdown, and a vampire walks in the daylight. well done.

Kate Beckinsale in tight black leather. I would purchase any movie of Kate in tight black leather, even if she sat on a chair reading the phone book. You are the best, Kate!

Gotta love the Best Buy exclusive Project Pop Art Blu-ray steelbooks, especially when they decide to repackage a complete series. If you're an Underworld fan, these steelbooks are great to collect.

Great movie, about time they updated the vampire vs. werewolf genere, awesome storyline, special effects are great, if you haven't seen this movie before, check it out before the next movie hits theaters.

This was bought for my stepson in a line of what had to have been a movie marathon for him. Quite excited at this purchase since he stocked up on quite a few. Loved it.
