I have all of the movies and especially if you love vampires and lycans and knowing how this started

I love this series. This is a pretty strong entry too

Romeo and Juliet with vampires, werewolves, and a rebellion. Not a new story but, I was entertained throughout the movie.

My wife and I went back and watched this after binge watching the other underworld movies. Even though the death of Viktor's daughter varies a bit scene wise from the first underworld movie. It really helps tie the movies together. My wife never saw rise of the lycans because Kate Beckinsale wasn't in it, so we gave it a looksy and we both really enjoyed it. Can't wait for the release of blood wars so we can watch them all in order.

I loved watching this movie, because I'm a huge fan of the Underworld series and it shows how the war between the vampires and the lycans all started. This is the only movie without Selene, besides the small cameo at the end. The love story with Lucian and Sonja, with both coming from different species, was great despite their unfortunate outcome. Must add to your collection if you're into Underworld.

This is such a great Movie. You get to see how the whole background of how the War between the Vampires and Lycans was started and why. It is my Favorite movie in the series next to the Original Underworld Movie. It is an excellent movie. If you like this series you need to see it.

Movie: Although Underworld: Rise of the Lycans isn't my favorite of the series, it does provide a necessary backstory with excellent character development. Steelbook: This franchise proves that steelbooks don't need interior artwork all the time. A vibrant solid color is used for each film. The blu-ray itself is the same disc used for the 2009 release.

It's slightly annoying that all of the Steelbooks in the series have matching interior colors to the title, but on this one the inside is purple and the title is red. Also took FOREVER for the Blu-Ray to load in my player. I actually thought it was defective. Read online to turn off the Auto Internet on my player which made it load slightly faster.

The third film in the Underworld series, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans is actually a prequel to the first two films, and it fills in the background events leading to the Vampire-Lycan War. It is one of the more entertaining entries of this dark series. The Blu Ray disc is packaged in a limited edition collectable steel book.

Picked this up for 10 bucks at Bestbuy for the awesome steelbook art. I didn't own this one yet. Contains a digital copy. Tells the origins of how it all started in regards to the first film. Adds a necessary piece to the franchise without feeling out of place compared to the other films.

Great Product! A wonderful steelbook to add to your collection! I am currently trying to collect all 4. I am curious to see what the recent Underworld: Blood Wars Steelbook will look like. The Pop Art is awesome! Movie is about a 7/7.5 out of 10, but the packaging art validates the purchase.

thinks this one should have been the 1 st movie in the franchise since this goes back in time. happy to have the complete franchise in my blu ray collection. love the slip. came on time and damage free

I am admittedly a sucker for steel book cases. I find them more durable. But with the project pop art with best buy it even better. You get incredible artwork you wouldn't normally get with a release. The blu ray quality is already there and the special special features are fun.

Another one of the "Pop Art" steelbooks, it is a good addition for any collector. The third movie to the original Underworld (but this one is a prequel) about the war between Vampires and Werewolves, need I say more? If you haven't seen this by now, you need to.

Personally, I would rather have the theatrical images on the covers of these instead of the op or project art! But this one is still very nice! The art work is well done and the people responsible for release started with the right movie as far as I am concerned.

I am not a big fan of the pop art steelbooks but I must say that I enjoyed the art of the underworld steelbooks and Rise of the Lycans ws my favorite cover out of the 4 i've seen. Recommended for fans of the franchise!

Awesome movie with a lot of action. Watch this movie first before watching all the others so you can understand the whole saga.

Underrated entry in the Underworld series and such a cool steelbook.

Gotta love the Best Buy exclusive Project Pop Art Blu-ray steelbooks, especially when they decide to repackage a complete series. If you're an Underworld fan, these steelbooks are great to collect.

yeah I was rooting for the werewolves side even though this was a 'prequel'
