Its are and hard to find a good horror movie anymore, especially an original non franchised horror movie. Unfriended seemed to be at best questionable and to some laughable when the trailers for the movie initially were released, however, shockingly enough this is actually a pretty solid horror movie. The premise has been done a couple times. More recently I-Lived and Open Windows come to mind but Unfriended no doubt accomplished the "found footage/first person computer horror movie" gimmick best. The idea here is the the audience is watching the whole movie first hand through the computer screen. That means webcam, youtube, cellphone, etc, footage. Obviously the photography and the way the movie's shot isn't going to win any awards but the scares are solid and the premise is one that seems realistic enough that you're able to believe the film and all its plot, even putting yourself, if your young and get technology, in the actors shoes. A easily overlooked, but necessary, film that any horror fan should see.

A horror film done in a new way. I love how it is inventive, with the Web Cam as the main camera. The whole movie is done on the Internet. Couldn't make out some of what was happening, when someone got murdered. It killed the suspense for me. Halloween Resurrection used the Internet in a better way to fill the movie. Bad camera angles & confusing camera shots. Story concept was simple but interesting. Because of the bad camera issues, I gave it a 4 stars instead of 5.

When I first saw the commercials for this movie, I thought it would be pretty bad; however, the reviews weren't as bad as I'd thought, so I decided to pick it up. It was better than I'd first expected, and had a number of good scares to it. Judging from what was apparently left out and alternate takes described on-line, however, it could have been better. It IS a good cautionary tale against cyber-bullying, though.

This movie takes a new look at horror using social media, I love new takes on horror movies! Most of the movie was really good in my opinion however I feel the movie could've done better with us guessing what happened to Blair, instead of revealing that weak ending. But it had a great beginning, great suspense build up, everything was great except for the ending.

The idea behind the movie is good and it incorporates a new element to your traditional thriller, with the haunting along cyberspace if you will, but it could have been better thought out. Shelley Hennig is worth watching, but it's not a great thriller. I wouldn't buy it unless you really wanted to see it.

I bought this movie the day it came out because I missed it in the movie theaters. The movie wasn't very scary; however, it did have some suspenseful parts. The worst thing was that the entire movie was based off of a computer screen so if you wouldn't like that then this movie isn't for you.

At 80 minutes unfriended moves quickly and swiftly and shows just how messed up a group of people can be to one person and the director cleverly uses social media and other things we use on our computers daily to just show how interactive are lifes are

Older customer and the moving combined texting, cyber bullying & Death. Mimic life, but more sci-fi with the texting. So, with being older, we did not relate to the movie where a younger customer might.

Sadly a lot of horror movies get downgraded to a PG-13 rating because studios want to allow the popular genre to be available to a large moive going audience. That said this movie is still not that bad.. had a few good jumps

I was hoping for this movie to be better than it was. It was just ok. The movie was very predictable and felt like it was rushed. I recommend renting it first before considering buying it.

Good movie. Definitley relates to new technology and the younger generation of today. A scary revelation of how technology is not always good and how being thoughtful of others can easily get out of hand.

I liked the movie a lot except the ending. It wasn't awful just wish it was better. It keeps you on your toes and actually has a little gore which I like in movies. It was a good movie overall.

being from the older generation, I don't text that much or do the online video chats but it was a decent movie. I wish it was more offline than online per se.

This movie was good. It caught my attention at the beginning. I really like watching horror movies but you have to see it for yourself because everybody have different opinions.

It wasn't a great movie but was interesting in how it was presented. I will watch the 2nd one when it comes out on Blu-ray.

Unfriended is certainly worth a watch. I'm still a fan of the "found footage" sub-genre. This particular style has been done once or twice before but I still enjoyed it.

Movie was good. different than your typical horror movie, but kept you in suspense. Ending was pretty good. Movie at times was dragged out, but overall was worth the $.

This was an interesting movie...basically a few scary moments, enough for a red box rental, but would not recommend spending the money to buy it.

the ending was pretty surprising, some scenens were strange but by todays' standards this film gets 8 out of 10 for originality and 7 for overall watchablity

Unfriended is a love it or hate it type of movie and the bluray special features are to be love it or hated it just like the movie.
