    Good CB, doesn't have NOAA, but I knew that when I bought it. If you don't need NOAA weather, then this CB will be an AWESOME addition for trail ridgers.

    This Uniden Pro 520xl is a nice little cb. There is one reason for why I don't give it 5 stars. The channel selector is very sensitive and when changing channels, sometimes it skips a channel. You can tell from the way it is made that if you take the knob off, the actual workings is plastic and not metal. I will give it 5 stars, if and when that channel selector is made better. Other than that, the radio gets out pretty good and does have other good controls. The anl switch works good. Squelch and rf gain are good. The readout on channel selector isn't quite as bright in the daytime. Depending on how you mount it, it is sufficient.

    this CB is simple, and a great starter. Not very strong, but good for infrequent and somewhat short range use.
