We simply purchased this for our tv and thought it would be cool to see space in 3d. It wasnt a great show it seemed a bit repetitive.

This movie was full of information of how things work in the universe. Always full of information and what a picture especially with 3D.

Interesting movie. I purchased this movie for $9.99 to try out my new 3D Blu Ray player. The 3D is just ok, but the content is educational.

Excellent video for showing someone what 3D TV looks like. Well made. Obviously, you need a 3D Capable TV to use this.

I am satisfied how the Universe is showed in this video to have an idea historically from the beginning to the end.

This DVD was a basic 3-D film. I purchased it in order to try out my 3-D projector and glasses. Worked as promised.

The reviews for this may have set my expectations a little too high going in to it. It's a solid series, but in my opinion there are other educational movies with far better 3D scenes (Under the Sea 3D, like the potato cod scene) and graphics in them and others that offer better "universe in a nutshell" summaries (Seth McFarlane's reboot of Carl Sagan's Cosmos). Not a regrettable purchase, but didn't quite wow me.

I really enjoy learning about the universe and it was so much cheaper than the original 3 disc set I bought a few years ago

This blue ray is incredible! Stunning digital animation ! Computer simulated flybys and and simulations . Might be a bit basic for avid astronomers and experts but this is what makes it a good disc for the family! Kids will learn a lot without being subjected to large amounts of esoterically specific talk

This is a great 3d movie. If you love space and science, have a 3d tv then this is a great bluray to show off the view.

I haven't watched all the episodes. What I have seen is alright. 3D is not impressive. For $10 though I don't mind.

This is a very interesting documentary. I enjoyed it. The 3d quality of the bluray is really good as well. It is tough finding good quality 3d movies/shows/documentary's. This was only $5 so it did not break the bank. I was expecting poor quality or a boring storyline but I was wrong.

The content of this dvd is interesting and it is in 3D, but the effects were just not as fun to watch as other films like Avatar, Kong Island, etc. The 3D graphics seemed to recess into the screen, instead of jump out at you. The price was a good value and I'm glad to have it in my collection, but probably won't watch it very often.

my son recommended this movie and after watching it on his massive TV it was prettyou amazing.

After I received a 3D tv for my bday can't seem to see anything else, saw this at the stores and said I have to have it, and I have to say you have to see it the effect of the universal is far beyond what I expected. Hope we are alive to see when the first people go to Mars.

I enjoyed the 3D effects of this DVD. I enjoy anything about space so price and value was a factor.

This rendition of The Universe in 3D is made from old material. Previous in DVD format was used to make a 3D movie program. It does not look good at all. Pretty lame coming from a reputable program like The Universe. The sharpness of a HD and Blu-Ray program is what make a 3D movie worth watching. Anything else is not worth buying.

Sony 4k TV is not an IMAX 3D experience, but the 3D did make this more interesting.

The DVD is a great 3d view of the universe for those of us interested in this. The 3d effect is crystal clear and the best 3d view of this interesting subject. One of the best DVDs which shows the scientific view of the universe in 3d. The price was excellent
