Not made for the performance base

I get my surfacebook and the case... go to put them together... and i can't get it over the edge of the keyboard. You have to pay attention to this as Best Buy has to special order the correct case for the performance base. No idea why they carry a product and then supply the wrong accessory. I don't believe its even listed as an online item. Had to research / hunt this down myself and tell their business team what i needed. Luckily, they could order it quickly and ship it to me.

Not for the Surface Book w/ Performance Base

However, if you have a Surface Book with Performance Base and not the Discrete GPU, this case is not for you. I am giving it three stars because it was not easily determinable if the case would work with the new base or not. Although I was able to get the case to work with my Surface Book, it required the use to an Exacto knife and needle files. Even with the modifications I had to perform to get this case to work. I am still pleased with it after a month.
