Classic from John Travolta and Debra Winger. Always liked ole Travolta since Welcome Back Kotter days. Debra Winger was so fine and young in this movie: very pretty. Great story to keep me interested. I use to ride the rockin-buckin mechanical bulls. Ruff ride!!!

John Travolta coming off his 1978 hit, GREASE makes his cowboy debut in URBAN COWBOY. The Blu-ray looks good and sounds good here. Easy selections in menu for audio and subtitles. Great soundtrack! I do recommend if you really enjoy John Travolta's early movie roles.

Urban cowboy has been a favorite of mine since it was first released 40 years ago!! When you get a great movie plus 1 of the best soundtracks for a movie together-It’s pretty rare to see that. I’m so glad they released this for the first on blu-ray for the 40th anniversary! This movie will never get too old for me! Make sure you buy it and add it to your blu-ray collection!

Have had Urban Cowboy on DVD for years but thought I would purchase the Blu Ray to see if it was actually better. Short answer is yes. Picture in better but the songs on the soundtrack are much better sounding on my surround. Highly recommended.

I wanted to purchase this movie because it’s not always available to watch on the services I have. So I purchased this so I can watch it anytime I want now. Great classic movie. I have no regrets buying this movie.

One of John travoltas greatest films ever made. The story of bud and sissy will always stand the test of time. Definitely would recommend this classic.

A favorite of mine. Glad to have it on blu ray finally. Looks good enough for the time. Video is a little processed but looks better than the DVD.

One of my favorite movies gets the Blu-Ray treatment...audio and video look great, especially compared to the near 15 year old DVD that I had.

When I went to see this movie, I didn't expect much. But I really enjoyed it. Having grown up near Pasadena (and been to Gilley's) I could almost relate to some of the characters.

JOHN/ WAS JUST COMING OUT OF THE WEL/BK-KOTTER/SERIES W/THIS MOVIE. JOHN AND DEBRA WINGER ARE A GREAT PAIR. THIS BOY GET'S-GIRL/ GIRL GET'S-BOY JEALOUS FILM IS REALLY VERY GOOD. A MUST HAVE/WATCH!!
