Axl Rose is a Genius and will be remembered forever as one of history's most brilliant, talented artists. Guns N' Roses is one of the best bands in history and "Use Your Illusion I" is one of history's best albums. This and "Use Your Illusion II" showed the band's further exploration into music as an art form. Rather than simply repeat/remake "Appetite for Destruction," which would have been the easy/expected route to take, Guns N' Roses showed their range and talent as musicians. Axl Rose is a brilliant lyricist and a true poet. His masterpieces "November Rain" and "Estranged" are fit to be in the same category as classical music from Mozart, Bach and the modern Elton John. Axl's and Izzy's collaborations on some of their older songs such as "Don't Cry" show their velvet smooth musical partnership. Axl and Slash's chemistry is something rarely seen. When the two come together they are explosive. Axl Rose redefined the "rock 'n' roll frontman" with his genius, eloquence, talent, charisma and grace. Guns N' Roses redefined the rock 'n' roll band with their raw, no-holds-barred attitude -- which was never, ever manufactured (as so many other musicians were/are "created" and "molded" by publicists and their record companies). With Guns N' Roses it was/is always what you see is what you get -- no pretense. Thank you to Axl and Guns N' Roses for giving all fans, including/especially us young fans for the opportunity to share in the excitement of Guns N' Roses. Between this special release, the limited edition release and the new "Chinese Democracy" release -- this is a dream come true for any Guns N' Roses fan (and any true fan of music). BUY THIS ALBUM!!!
