This might be the last movie I enjoyed from the Wachowski's (the Matrix) an engaging vigilante thriller.

This movie speaks to so many of society's ills. It is still relevant today and the acting is excellent!

I have liked this movie since I first viewed this at the theater! Looks better on 4k bluray some parts of the film seem a little diferent but, it could be that I have'nt watched in awhile.

Missed the days of DVD menus and this one is no exception!

With a new 4K transfer created straight from the original film source, WB has materially upgraded the visuals on “V for Vendetta” not only in terms of resolution but also in terms of HDR which allows all the details/action in darker scenes to be made out easily and also allows the few colourful moments ( e.g., firework ) to have much more of visual impact. Audio is also enhanced in the form of the new Dolby Atmos track which gives each punch, kick, gunshot, knife more impact to the viewer as it swirls around them across all speakers. Buy with confidence if you’ve never owned or seen this movie before … and previous owners of the older blu-ray transfer can upgrade with no regrets.

geee where do we even begin with this movie? man this was a magnificent movie by the way! it may be a comic book movie but dont expect a lot of action there's a dictator that is brainwashing people with his lied to stay in power! he is striking fear into them so they can keep following there and they can protect them. (sound familiar???) at the same time there is a place?virus going around, there is a cure but the people are skeptical of taking it as they believe it'll mess them up or make them more submissive. technology is taking a hold of people as it traces all of their moves and theyre afraid to go out as the police are brutal towards the civilians seriously watch this movie

Never seen something like this...blown away by such love story... I am speechless. First of all the dialogues and script. Intense, witty, honest but not patronising, intelligent but not pretentious. That's the first level at which the movie surprises you. You don't except such high level of script from an action movie. But it is slowly revealed to the audience that V for Vendetta is not just an action movie. The story is filled with current events and has a definite strong political sense.

Hugo Weaving's delivery of his lines as V are well worth repeatability particularly after his first meeting with Evey (Natalie Portman). His handling of the alliteration is letter perfect and how he conveys through voice, a slight cock or bow of his head alone brings his character's motives and feelings to the fore. It's a graphic novel brought to film about a superhero with tons of panache. The 4K image is superb and the soundtrack is equally effective.

A very strong upgrade to a 4K UHD picture with improved sound. This is definitely an overlooked comic book movie that deserves far more attention. It does deviate a bit from the original graphic novel, but unlike Watchmen, I feel it still captures the heart of the original book. It also has some great new special features, which is what I feel ALL 4K upgrades should do to further justify collectors upgrading their copies of films from blu ray to 4K.

Following world war, London is a police state occupied by a fascist government, and a vigilante known only as V (Hugo Weaving) uses terrorist tactics to fight the oppressors of the world in which he now lives. When V saves a young woman named Evey (Natalie Portman) from the secret police, he discovers an ally in his fight against England's oppressors. Watching annually on November the 5th since 2006!

Great film! Love the picture upstate and the sound upgrade to Dolby Atmos! I last owned this film on the dead HD-DVD format. Worthy update and great video and even better soundtrack. If your a fan of film and own a 4k tv plus a Atmos capable surround you won’t be disappointed. High price for an older film is tge only complaint I can muster. But, there’s a lack of new fims due to 2020 being the best year!

V for Vendetta stimulates all my story-telling needs. It offers action, drama, suspense, romance, politics, right and wrong, good and evil, and is done in a way that is not too complex or too simple, too fast or too slow. It steps on some toes, but for all the right reasons. It addresses truth, and the priorities that we all should consider. One of my favorites!

Yes! what an amazing movie, so glad for its 4k release. It looks sharp, HDR is great but the biggest improvement is with the soundtrack! have this playing through a good home theater system and you will be glad you made the purchase, your neighbors not so much. new recorded special features were also a pleasant surprise and missing from so many new 4k releases.

An excellent adaptation. The performances are great and I am glad to have this one on 4K. It is a nice upgrade over the Blu-ray. Plus, the packaging here is great. It was a nice touch to have the slipcover feature different art than what is in the case. Way to go on this one, Warner Brothers!

This 4K version of the film is a huge improvement over the blu-ray that came out years ago. The price was reasonable especially since it came with a 14 day free trial of HBOmax. A very nice Dolby Atmos is included along with deeper colors and depth with clarity. I love 4K and am very happy to add this film to my collection.

V for Vendetta has turned into a movie classic and definitely a movie I enjoy watching once a year on (you guessed it) the 5th of November. This is the best this film has ever looked. If you enjoy the movie, get it in 4K and have the best version ever released. Highly recommended.
