I have been around since headphones became popular in the 1960's . I have seen them evolve over the decades . I bought these in both silver and black because the sale price was below $90 . When I received them , I first noticed great packaging which really doesn't mean a whole lot in the final analysis ; but these were exceptional . When I saw the headphones , they were surprisingly well made , solid and apparent high quality . I had read some reviews from other web sites where distortion of at high volumes were noted . For the sake of my hearing I don't use headphones at high volumes ... Anyway , as I used these I was basically blown away with the overall quality and sound ... more than pleased . I was thinking on giving one of the two pairs I bought , as a gift . Now I am thinking I will keep both . The storage/carry case is an exceptional add-on that came with the phones and they were over the top ( in my opinion ) . One of the better purchases I have ever made .

Bought for my son he said they hurt his ears. They were not cheap either so they should be comfortable.

I've had these headphones for about 4 years or so and have never had a problem out of them. The tension on the band is the same as the day I bought them. The screw holes for the plates that are changeable on the side are still in great shape and hold tight. The sound quality is excellent still and they have been through some rough days! I use them at work and at home. They have been through alot of sweat and still are doing great. The only thing I would change is to give just a little more space between ear pad and the speaker cover...after about 5 or 6 hours they can start to get to you from the pressure. Other than that, I have no issue with them. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. Especially with the warranty from the company.

These are smaller headphones but the sound is second to none I really enjoy the v moda m80 great product you can't go wrong with this head set....

...The included cable is waaaaaaaay toooooooooo shhhhhhhhhhhhhort! Build quality is high but again the cable is ridiculously short. I tried to plug them into an adaptor to listen to my stereo but that didn't work at all. Still, I think these will do nicely and via my iPod, FiiO X1 or Android phone the music is excellent. It would be nice if there was an additional cable of 10 or so feet in length. I do prefer over the ear headphones but these are pleasant enough for me to overlook that and besides, I knew they were on-ear and ordered them all the same. The cable sucks. Did I mention that? ;-) Overall the headphones are quite good.

These headphones aged horrible.Stuffing coming out and material peeling. After contacting Vmoda they offered no remorse or care to assist me in a new pair, replacements or repair. On top of that these were barely used. Just casual headphones sitting in my house.
