Ah, a good old fashioned 80's made for TV mini-series. My wife found this and scoffed it right up. Having seen this on TV the first time around when I was a boy was enough for me to give this a bye. I'm glad she picked it up. V is an old TV classic. It is not over the top. The series, at least the original mini-series, has an undertone of how easily politicians and our youth can be easily turned to work against our own best interests and actually be led to destroy the very thing that can save us. The issues discussed in the show are just as relevant today as it was back in the 80's. This is a slow burn, the special effects do not hold up well compared with today's technology, but it is a worthy piece of Science Fiction to add to your collection.

I don’t trust all these streaming platforms to keep content….. look what’s happening as they are just pulling things. Just watch and all these classic series go on sale. Well worth getting so it’s yours

I grew up loving this series in the 80's. When I saw it was out on Blu-ray I knew I had to have it! Such a great show!

Very nice upgrade over the previous DVD. As a youngster, this series was a can't-miss experience that was talked about for days, if not weeks, after viewing it. Very good production values for a TV mini-series. The video does show the limitations of the TV special effects and budget, but the increase in clarity and colors is definitely worth it.

Show holds up well even today. It’s funny, but also a little too real when you see the first thing the aliens do is discredit the scientists. Sound familiar? Action packed, but hits home too with todays political climate.

v if your an alien lizard fan this mini series is grand!

Great piece of 80s nostalgia I’m glad I now have on blu ray. Widescreen presentation is great!

Still a classic. Watched on 4k tv first time. Picture looked a little better. Haven’t set up surround sound so can’t tell you about audio. Probably in my top 5 sci fi favorites. The basics you can read elsewhere.
