If you loved The Fifth Element, then you're going to like this. It has all of the elements of Luc Besson's previous sci-fi film.

Not a luc benson fan, other the the 5th element, which is a great movie-had very low expectations for this movie, and after viewing really liked the movie- and looks and sounds great in 4k, would recommend

This movie was without a doubt entertaining, great story, great dialog, and the level of humor is perfect! Amazing cinematics and cgi work, the Male lead was a bit blah but still over I would Highly recommend!

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets had so many great stars, what a Great movie.

This is a fun, colorful movie for the right price. It's not Luc Besson's best picture but can be watched with the whole family.

It took me two tries to understand and really like this movie. The action and comedy is good and the movie plot stands strong.

This movie was visually stunning to watch which was a shame the story wasn’t better and the acting should have been on point!

As a movie, “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” is visually bright and stunning, as most of Luc Besson’s movies are. But, there is something lacking in the chemistry between the two primary characters. Cara Delevingne is quite interesting, but Dane DeHaan as Valerian is rather dull; maybe he is trying to be understated, and goes overboard in his performance?! This item was purchased December, 2022, as a 4K UHD + Blu-ray + digital movie combo pack. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get the UHD version of the movie as a streaming digital video. It seems that the digital code can ONLY be redeemed at Vudu, too. And, even though it is sold as a 4K Combo pack, the digital redemption only gives you an HD version for your purchase, NOT a 4K UHD digital version. Vudu says that it is an arrangement with the movie studio, and they can’t do anything about it if the redemption card inside the case doesn’t say that the included digital version is specifically UHD, and not just HD. But, there is no way to tell from the online description, or carefully reading the exterior of the case, what digital version would actually be included. Plus, the physical redemption card (the HD version) says that it may not be valid after 2019(!); so, this seems to be an old production run they are trying to get rid of. I thought I was getting a 4K digital streaming movie included in this 4K combo, but I guess not. If you don’t care about whether or not you get a 4K digital streaming movie (and getting it only from Vudu, and not from another, better, digital streaming service), then, at this sale price, it is still an okay purchase. But, buyer beware!

This is an excellent movie for kids and adults. Critics do not like it because it lacks violence and sex like other R rated movie. But it is very entertaining to watch especially with kids and young adults.

A great Space Sci-Fi movie with fantastic locales and characters. I was happy to get this movie in 4k because there is so much imagery that benefits from the increased resolution and color spectrum.

Decent futuristic space movie. The AR angle was interesting. What really got me was the video quality. Colors really popped.

This is an absolutely stunning movie, especially in 4k! Very underrated and while not a perfect movie, it is a lot of fun!

This reminded me a lot of the Fifth Element. Not a lot of traction when it came out in theaters or at DVD/Blu-Ray release, but I can see this movie appearing on cable reruns as part of sci-fi blocks in 10 years alongside movies like Fifth Element and Total Recall. Its not that bad of a movie, but not overly great either; fans of sci-fi will like it but the average movie watcher might not.

I had not seen this movie and it was on sale so I bought it. When I watch it I will leave another review.

The product / packaging was as expected. The movie itself was alright but I was not blown away. The CGI / special effects are stellar. This reminded me a lot of a mini-Avatar as far as CGI production quality. The primary actors did a good job. I may have been more excited about this movie if I was a fan of the comics / graphic novels. I wasn't aware of them before I watched this flick.

good old sci-fi from the guys who know how to do it. plot twists and action around a new world. nicely done.

Futuristic look at Valerian and Laureline safeguard their planet Alpha and the universe. Lots of great action.

I think it is an okay movie and runs a bit longer than it needs to, but is well worth your time.

This thing was awesome. I thouroughly enjoyed the story line. I found out later they crammed 3 story lines from the comic into 1 movie and prob should have broken it up but still solid film.

Relies too much on the visuals, never seems to make a connection with the viewer. Decent overall though.
