A fantastic movie all around. It’s Universal’s combined universes before it was a thing. Only 2 hours and you have a sweeping adventure most directors can’t achieve in 3. A true classic.

This is the best dracula movie i have ever seen and there'll never be a dracula movie like this.. love this movie. I watched it when i was a kid and I still watch this movie and that will never stop watching this one

This is a decent upgrade to 4K UHD. Not a significant increase in detail likely due to the age of the effects not upgrading to 4K particularly well, but the HDR color grading does help to better some of the dark scenes throughout the movie.

On paper Van Helsing has A LOT of things going for it. It's a horror film that throws back to Universals roots with their horror classics starring the insanely talented Hugh Jackman. Unfortunately the sum of its parts do not add up to a strong Horror outing in this place. The quirky comedy that made Stephen Sommers' Mummy films a fun ride fall flat in this Vampire tale that also includes Werewolves, Frankenstein and even Dr Jeckyll/Mr. Hyde. The ideas of the film are too ambitious for the time the film was made so many of the visual effects feel half backed a decade after the films original release. Universal's hope was to create a homage to the Horror classics they made some 70 years prior but the inclusion of so many of these characters makes the film feel overcrowded. In the end if you are a die fan of classic horror this will be a fun ride but the casual fan just may not get what the filmmakers were trying to do.

I had my doubts about a 14 year old movie looking this good in 4K, but after watching the opening black-and-white scene alone, my doubts were quickly buried! Despite how much this movie was disliked by most people, I continue to love it and it looks fantastic in 4K!

On an oled 3D Tv it's almost as satisfying as IMAX especially since there is no dress code. The movie was about an 7 of ten. I'll watch it again but I won't be watching it by myself blasted at full power subwoofer enduced concussion mode. I'll save that for Rogue One. -yes I can spell!

One of my all time favorite movies finally in 4k. Very very noticeable from the bluray. It seems like Kate and Huggs faces were very detailed. But the landscapes and the scenary looks fantastic. Very big improvement. I still love this movie very enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Huge upgrades over the Blu Ray for both audio and video. DTS X really shines when any of the vampires are flying around. And electricity from the machines in the movie. Video is a great upgrade also. Amazing upgrade for a 11 year old catalog title. Highly recommended.

I found this movie more enjoyable in 4k! I noticed a lot of things I had not noticed before! and the sound was also better!

Great flick, story keeps your attention Jackman does a great job as does Kate. Love Kate she makes a great action chick not quite the same roll as The Underwood movies but never the less great movie they both are excellent in it

This movie is a great time if you enjoy Universal’s monster movies. It fits in a few of the storylines to tell one main story that is great to watch. The cast is great and the movie is fun.

Great movie to watch at Halloween time! Full of Action and Adventure.

This is one of my favorite movies about Dracula werewolves etc. It is very entertaining and the visuals are great. Hugh Jackman and cast do a great job for the scripts. Better than the new Hansel and Gretel what a joke.

Hugh Jackman does a great job as the emotionally tortured Van Helsing. I don't know how Kate Bekinsale got into her costume. Dracula, Frankenstein, et al add to the enjoyment of this movie.

I Love this movie. Really fun to watch. All the acting was great.

This Blu Ray version is a great update to the DVD release. The audio is all surrounding and the video details are outstanding. Of course the story line has all the evils so is a great romp back in time.

Listen here I wore this film out when it hit dvd. And then came the bluray and of course I double dipped And guess what now I triple dipped because I have it for 4k now lol.

I can watch this guilty pleasure over and over. And now that it’s on 4K it’s like watching it for the first time again. The hdr enhances the filming experience

best special effects supprised they did not make a remake. i wish they made 2
