Ryan Reynolds is hilarious as Van Wilder, the lead role. Being that this is a National Lampoon movie, one would expect it to be funny. It definitely lives up to expectations of the previous National Lampoon movies. The script is ingenious and is extremely well-written. Many parts of the movie are unexpected, which makes it all the more enjoyable. This movie is so much fun to watch over and over again.

If you like dirty and profane humor, then this is for you. This is one of Ryan Reynolds earlier films way before he squeezed into red and black spandex. This is the film that put Reynolds on the map for me having seen it years ago. Laughed myself silly, too. If you don't mind the potty humor and just want a laugh, this is the movie for you.

This is an older movie and I had not seen it before. I took the chance based on "National Lampoon" and Ryan Reynolds as the star. It is one belly laugh after another. However, it is probably not for younger audiences. It does ring true on many collegiate levels. A classic for sure.

It's amazing how a classic can be viewed in a whole new light as the transfer to the 4K is absolutely stunning... easily worth the price of upgrade and highly recommended!

Great story about growing up; excellent characterizations & plot. However, I would have liked to see a (short) epilogue with a (short) story about what Van Wilder did next (maybe as a lead-in to a sequel showing Van Wilder's next life adventure.

Flashing back to the early career of Ryan Reynolds you also have the first Kal Penn (Harold and Kumar fame) getting his start. this version has everything I need to watch on blu-ray and enjoy it until I go 4K. Great movie.

This is my wife's favorite Ryan Reynolds film and she had the original DVD copy that included both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios. For $8 on Black Friday this was my wife's early start Nick's gift!

Let's face it, you either love him or hate him and I, personally, love Ryan Reynolds. This, of course, is one of his early breakout comedies that is just as funny today as the first time I saw it.

This is a comedy classic and one of my all time favorite movies. I've watched it so many times, its insane. Great cast, great writing, it's a must see movie and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Enjoy this classic in stunning 4k technology. Even I thought for a film that was low budget the quality with this newly released 4k makes it seem like the movie was just made. Worth purchasing again for quality alone

Let's start with the good, the movie is funny and can be way more then your belly can take with the laughs that keep coming. Audio is great with no complaints to be had. And then the Video, in this 4K bluray i was expecting as with most all 4K a near flawless picture, but the transfer is not 4K beautiful but more of dvd quality, very disappointed in the visuals. Overall still worth purchasing if you don't already own it on regular bluray or dvd, and you have a 4K player and 4K tv.

for those old enough to remember “animal house “ which was a 70’s Classic, this movie is in my opinion another classic from a different decade,, highly recommend to watch.

This movie is my top ten comedies for sure. It is incredibly funny, with great acting and writing. The only negative thing I might say is they could have made a better choice for the female lead.

Looks great for an "older" movie. Stupid humor everywhere but I have fond memories of this one. Worth a purchase, especially when it was on sale for $7.99.

Van Wilder 4K is one the best college movies. Van Wilder is recommended for adults only. PQ and AQ are good upgrades. A must own for fans of the movie.

Even though this film was released in 2002 I still enjoy it, if you like Ryan Reynolds sense of humor you'll more than likely enjoy this movie too!

I had this in DVD. Getting it in blu ray is just great. Helps me make my collection smaller, gives me more room to add to my already big collection.

More of a movie for the college aged but it’s one of the more funny movies you will find if your looking for college aged humor.
