Remote control did not work☹️ bought the drone fory son as a Christmas gift. As soon as he opened he got do excited and wanted to try it out. We turn on the remote and it was blinking we dowmload the app and it was showing low battery si we charge it for few hiurs and nothing we even bough another charger and nothing still showing low battery.

My son lives this drone i recomned anyone looking for a beginer drone to start with this one

Flew off never to be seen again the very first time we flew it. Wouldn’t come back home and respond to buttons. Just flew forever away.

Remote Controller not charging just after couple of use

Brand new to the drone world I picked this unit up to for the purpose of reviewing so anyone who is new to drones hopefully this might help you decide if you should purchase or not. Some of the things I was interested in was the remote control and the 4k camera since that’s most important to me. After charging and calibrating the unit you are ready for take off as long as you can get gps from satellites. Take off was relatively simple but being the first time I flew a drone I was really hesitant to test its limits so I decided to hover close to the ground for a while before starting a journey. I took the drone to the school nearby just in case I accidentally crashed and I was really nervous about that so I wanted to take precautions the entire flight. After getting the hang of things I was able to venture out on my second flight and test some of the camera features along with the remote and both were very simple to use. I had cut the first flight short because I wanted to check the return to home was working properly. The camera works well and can rotate any direction you choose. Overall it’s comfortable to use and I had a lot of fun playing with this. I’m not sure what you get with the higher end drones but for me this was fun and easy to use making it perfect for a novice user without experience.

The Snaptain SP7100S Drone seems like it has a lot of the features of much more expensive units for a very reasonable price. I am, by no means, an expert. In fact, this is my first time flying one of these things. Set up seems a bit tedious — that you have to go through all the pairing sequences each time you want to head out for a flight. Maybe this is a common thing with all drones?…I don’t know. Anyway, after doing this a few times, it really isn’t too much of a distraction. There. I’m over it. Getting used to the controls took me a little while, but I am getting used to it. You gotta understand — I’m not a gamer, either. After a few ups and downs and turns, it’s fun. But I have other things to do with this little guy. The practicality of this drone came to light knowing that I wanted to do a visual inspection of the roof of my motorhome. I know there are hand commands that you can use to initiate photos and video, but I didn’t have any problem just using the regular ‘buttons’ on my phone. I have a neurological condition that makes it unsafe for me to climb ladders to do this kind of thing myself, so it was pretty awesome to be able to take two short videos of the full length of the RV’s rooftop, one in each direction. I also snapped a series of still shots from different angles around the a/c units, vents, and seams. Accessing all of this on my computer screen at home, being able to stop and zoom whenever I wanted, I was able to check for any damage or degradation. Perfect. Thank you Snaptain. A couple things I have a bit of a concern about — If I try to hover in one spot, the drone seems to drift a little…and this is with no breeze. Also, the Return to Home feature works pretty well, but within about a 15-20 ft radius. Don’t expect it to be exact and plan ahead regarding your surroundings. Maybe mine’s just a bit off, but it’s not a dealbreaker. All in all, the Snaptain SP7100S Drone is fun and useful, especially for the cost.

The drone itself looks good and it feels premium tons of features like GPS, the drone following you , auto take off and auto landing just to name a few . Plus you get a 4k camera and it looks good when you play back the image straight from the SD card (which you have to buy separately.) To the computer . Where it suffers is from mostly the software, for instance first you pair the remote and the drone make sure that it does . For me it takes a long time for it to pair and it's annoying. Then you have to connect the phone to the drone's wifi signal then you can open the app and use it. The app doesn't even do it for you automatically or even specifically say it . Luckily I read all the manuals first . You would think the app would help you with the setup but it does not. When you do stream straight to the phone it's in 720p to me that's not good because I need to see what it's going to look like in 4k so i can make the necessary adjustments to the camera on the go not look at the footage on my laptop and see if its washed out or too dark . So you must have some video editing software to post edit anything. At least they could have done 1080p stream. You get 1 battery that's it , they website doesn't have anymore for sale . To charge the remote it uses USB micro it's 2022 c'mon now USB C .
