Customer Ratings & Reviews

I’m really impressed with my new Vantrue N5 4‑Channel Dash Camera. The video quality is excellent both day and night, and having full 360° coverage (front, back, and cabin) gives me total peace of mind while driving and when parked. Setup took a bit of work running the cables, but once installed the features like Wi-Fi, GPS, parking mode, and voice control make it super easy to use. Great value overall — I’d recommend this dash cam to anyone looking for reliable, all-around protection for their vehicle.

I am extremely impressed with the Vantrue N4 Pro! The 4K recording quality is razor-sharp, allowing me to easily read license plates even at night or at high speeds. Having three coverage channels (front, cabin, and rear) gives me complete peace of mind on the road. The 5GHz Wi-Fi makes downloading clips to my phone super fast, and the included 128GB MicroSD card was a great bonus. Installation was straightforward, and the interface is very user-friendly. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for premium protection for their vehicle!

Picture quality front and back is genuinely good, even at night the plates are readable which is more than I can say for my last cam. Setup took a bit of fiddling to get the wifi connected but once it was done it just runs in the background. Parking mode has caught a couple bumps in the lot without draining the battery too much. The included card was already formatted and ready to go, which i wasnt expecting. Only gripe is the app can be slow to load clips sometimes. Overall does exactly what a dash cam should do.

I’ve been using this dash cam for a while now, and it has completely changed how confident I feel on the road. The video quality is impressively clear both day and night. License plates are readable, and the wide-angle view captures everything that matters without distortion. Night footage is especially solid, even under low street lighting. Installation was straightforward and didn’t require professional help. The camera powers on automatically when I start the car and begins recording right away, so I never have to think about it. The loop recording works seamlessly, and the G-sensor accurately locks important clips during sudden braking or bumps. One feature I truly appreciate is how reliable it is in daily use. It has handled hot days, cold mornings, and long drives without overheating or freezing. The files are easy to access, and playback on both the camera and app is smooth. Most importantly, this dash cam gives real peace of mind. Whether it’s protecting me in case of an accident or discouraging reckless behavior around my car, it feels like a quiet but dependable co-pilot. For the price, performance, and reliability, this is an excellent value and something I’d confidently recommend to any driver.

Full disclosure: installing this turned out to be too much for me, but I appreciated the thoroughness of the manual. My brother had no trouble at all getting it all installed for me on Thanksgiving (how could he say No with all the family as witnesses? ha!). He mentioned that it was easier than I probably thought, since I've never run wires before, but that you just have to think the wires through first (so that's a pro-tip). He ended up with extra clips he had me hang onto. For me, I just like that the app is super intuitive and that, since I have a classic collectible car without a bunch of charging ports, I can plug my phone in to the adapter, even with the cameras connected. The images are clear and I like that it can monitor when I'm not driving, too, which is the main reason I got it, because of the high value of my vehicle and my concerns about having to frequently park it on the street. It's probably overkill for me, since I'm not commuting or driving all over, but I wanted the best, so I'm glad I didn't give up. It came with everything I needed, so that was a big plus, since I don't have a bunch of tools and parts around. I was able to box it back up and take it to dinner and act helpless and voila! Family man to the rescue!

Its triple-channel setup, covering front, cabin, and rear, eliminates all blind spots and gives me total peace of mind. The 4K front camera captures crisp details, making license plates easy to read, while the 1080p inner and rear cameras ensure full coverage. Installation was straightforward; the magnetic mount is secure, and the wiring was manageable. Features like built-in GPS, HDR, and smooth night vision provide clear, sharp footage day and night. I especially rely on the parking-mode motion detection, which offers a great security boost when the car is parked. This dash cam feels like a professional-grade device at a reasonable price, and I feel way safer on the road now. Highly recommend it for anyone needing full coverage and solid video quality.

The 4K video quality is extremely clear, especially at night, and the three-camera setup provides great coverage. Installation was easy. I have best buy install for me. The user guidance is clear. I like the parking mode and it also includes the memory card.

As a proud owner of a 2022 Toyota Venza, I was thrilled to find this Vantrue N4 PRO dash cam specifically recommended for my vehicle. With its 4K HDR recording, I’ve captured every detail of the road—even in low-light conditions, thanks to its impressive night vision. The 3-channel setup (front, cabin, rear) provides comprehensive coverage, so I always have a clear record of what’s happening inside and outside the car. Parking mode gives me peace of mind when I’m away, and the included 128GB Micro SD card ensures I never run out of storage for important footage. The 5GHz Wi-Fi and GPS integration make it easy to sync and review files via the app, and the sleek design blends seamlessly with my dashboard. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a reliable, high-quality dash cam!

I've been using this vantrue N4 pro for a few weeks now, and honestly its been a pretty solid dashcam overall. Setup was super easy took me about 10 mins to install it and put the cables in. The video quality is tremendous records in crisp 4k and the rear views give me full coverage of my car. I like the gps and voice control, the app feels good. Night vision works decently for my needs. I haven't try to set up the parking mode. I 'd say this dashcam is worth it overall if you want good video quality and all around coverage without spending a crazy money.

I bought this camera to replace a cobra one and its picture quality is night and difference i never could see the license plate on the old one and even at night i can see it clearly

It captures front, back and the rear seats as well! And the quality is pretty good. If you do any taxi service, you should get this because it has 3 cameras to protect both side.

Perfect dash camera for my car. Bought it my old car since there is no camera. I have three cameras and can see and record the video from all aspects. The claimed 4K image seems ambitious, but the overall image quality is good for day and night, the front one with resolution 3.8K, is very clear. the other two can be 1.8k or 2.4 K. I downloaded the app called Vantrue, which is very useful. I can see the video and download it, it is very quick with 5 G wifi . Don't need to take out the SD card and read on a PC, like this function. With GPS, it can record my card speed. It's worth the price, recommended!

My wife's car needs an dash cam due to busy morning traffic, and we saw this on our friend's car, he loves it so I figured just to get the same one. Been using it for over 2 weeks, first of all, the front camera is heavy, feels good quality, all the parts are tight, and I love the mount, it allows you to adjust the angle to fit your needs, cables are long enough for all the car, I have a 3 rows SUV, after running the cable from back to the front, I still have plenty left, the 128G SD card is enough for my daily drive, it can records 3-4 days of my driving. The front camera is 4k with wide angle, super clear, I also have one in my car, with the Starvis 1, this one clearly handles the picture better at night or during daytime with cloudy, and the cool thing is, I can capture the picture during the video, and the plate from the front of the car, also the parked car on the side of the road, all visible, impressive. I also tried to view the footage from the phone, new function to me as well, fairly easy to use, which means I can provide the footage to the cops at first place if I got involved to an accident, the speed is super fast, I chose 5G. The screen is large enough to use, love the buttons, very responsive, the sd card slot is hidden inside the side button, good design because from time to time, dust will fill into the slot, which this "cap", it will keep the sd slot clean. For one week, even it's 90 degree outside, it works flawlessly, hopefully it will perform the same during winter.

I got this camera on Black Friday. And I am very happy with this dash cam. The video is sharp and clear even at night. The 3-camera setup is very useful, and I like that I can turn each camera on or off individually. Also this dash cam is so convenient. It allows me connect to its Wi-Fi with my phone and export videos directly. Super fast and easy — no more hassle with taking out the memory card. Highly recommend it!

I bought this for my daughter new car and love it . I have a couple different dash cams and this is by far the easiest to pull the video from . Quantity of vide is amazing.

In complete awe with the sharp footage camera in daylight and in complete darkness! Picture quality was definitely beyond expectation. We just got a new car and wanted a dashcam that has parking mode giving us ease in the mind. The price for the camera matches its performance, quality, features. Overall definitely an excellent product that’s worth the money. You’d rather spend the money and feel reliable on the road in case anything happens.

This kind of out-in dual-lens dashcam is really suitable for Uber drivers. For my own safety and the safety of my passengers, I always choose reliable brands. This is looking for a replacement dashcam for my S2. Because I've used the S2 before, I insist on choosing this brand. You can see a good product right when you open the box. Everything is packed nicely and the camera feels sturdy and well made. It is quality during the day is very clear, capturing license plates and road conditions in detail. Night performance is also impressive. The infrared conversion is very sensitive, with good visibility even in low-light conditions. The device has a clean and simple design, keeping everything neat. The app connection is stable. It is in very handy when connecting to the device via the Vantrue app to view and download videos. . Features like parking mode and GPS are also very practical. The Best Buy version also exclusively includes a 128GB memory card. The price is a bit high, but it's worth the features and quality.

This is an awesome dash camera! I love that you get a forward camera a rear camera and a in car camera. All the cameras have crystal clear picture too. Set up was a breeze taking me about 10 minutes. It came with a bunch of clips to hide all the cords too. Highly recommend.

Excellent quality dash cam. There’s so much to this camera. Thank goodness the Vantrue pictures and videos go through everything this camera can do. Video recordings can be set at 1, 3, or 5 min. segments. There are 3 cameras (front, cabin, and rear) that all provide very clear footage (day or night). You can switch views of between each one or all of them with the press of a button. The GPS coordinates, date/time stamp, audio, and speed are recorded on each video. The cables are long enough to reach anywhere in the vehicle and thin enough to easily conceal in the car’s interior using the added cable crowbar tool. Thank goodness the rear camera is adjustable which I found out after I initially installed it upside down and facing the sky. It would’ve been nice if the rear camera had a “This end up” sign. The mobile app is user-friendly.

This is by far the best dash camera I’ve ever used. I own another one from a different vendor, but this model is superior in every aspect — from packaging to performance. The packaging is sleek and well thought out, with each component neatly arranged. I especially appreciated the included cable-hiding tool, which made it easy to tuck the wires into the car’s upholstery. The result looks clean and professional, even without any expert installation. The video quality is exceptional — crisp and detailed both during the day and at night. I love that you can set the video recording segments to 1, 3, or 5 minutes, depending on your preference. The magnetic mount is a fantastic feature. It allows you to easily detach the main camera and connect it to a computer whenever needed. All three cameras provide clear footage, and the ability to switch views between one or multiple cameras is a great touch. Each recorded video includes speed, GPS coordinates, date/time stamps, and audio, which is invaluable for reviewing events or providing evidence in case of an accident. The automatic video lock and adjustable G-force sensitivity give extra peace of mind. The mobile app is user-friendly and intuitive, making it simple to access or manage videos on the go. The wires are thin and long enough to route neatly through the car’s interior, reaching the center console with ease. Overall, this dash cam truly feels best in class, especially after comparing it to other brands I’ve used. Pros Elegant packaging with thoughtful organization Handy cable-hiding tool included Excellent video clarity (day and night) Flexible recording segment options (1, 3, or 5 minutes) Magnetic mount for quick attachment/detachment Clear footage from all three cameras GPS, speed, date/time, and voice recorded on videos Adjustable G-sensor and automatic video lock Intuitive and responsive mobile app Slim, long cables that are easy to conceal Option to view one or all three cameras simultaneously Cons None significant so far — perhaps an arrow imprinted on the rear camera case to ensure the lens is horizontal on the titled back windshield. It was a bit hard to align given that I cannot look at the camera orientation facing backwards.
