Series is a decent comedy series from HBO. Has a decent storyline and some great characters. However I blind bought this after all the reviews expecting more hilarity than there actually was. I consider myself to be both intelligent and capable of getting witty and intelligent humor. I am not unhappy with the purchase but don't expect there to be lots of laughing either. Looking forward to the second season.

This show was so much better than I had anticipated. I caught the first two episodes on a free preview and felt that Julie Louie-Drewfus was excellent as a Vice President that has no purpose other than pomp, truly a bureaucratic pawn. However, I like how the main character is an everyman sort only with power, or at least position to not necessarily affect change so much as it is to achieve notoriety despite the insolence and incompetence of herself and her staff.

After being disappointed by the cancellation of the brilliant New Adventures of Old Christine, Julia Louis-Dreyfus rebounded in a bigger and better (and funnier) way! Even if you are not into "political" shows, you'll love VEEP. The rapid-fire exchanges, the quick-witted comebacks, and the stellar performances by the entire cast make this one of the funniest shows not just on cable, but on television.

The show's great! People say there's too much swearing but I say that that's what makes it so believable. If I was in their position I'd be swearing too. Overall the acting is great, cleaver writing, and very humorous. My only compliant is that I wish there were more special features, but that's a very small compliant.

I had heard that this series was very funny and well-acted. I know that it is Emmy award-winning, so when I was shopping for a birthday gift for a friend, this title looked like a good idea. I purchased DVDs of the first and second seasons at a great discount besides!

This is an interesting series showing how a female president runs a government. The humors are non-stopping and I can finish an episode quite easily. Very relaxing and entertaining when you want to kill some time.

Love this show. It's witty, funny and well-acted. What more could you ask for? The episodes are short; I'm always wanting for more. If behind-the-scenes politics is really like this, I should get in there!

The television show, VEEP, is an amazing show. For those of us without HBO subscriptions, I always buy the bluray packs at Best Buy so I can watch my favorite shows whenever I please. VEEP is hilarious and an amazing television show!

The series has sharp, humorous dialog and is quick paced. There are many nuanced jokes to be found on repeat viewings. The season / runtime is short compared to most premium channel offerings.

The humor in this show is the perfect mix of high and low brow comedy. The dialogue is fast-paced and witty, but the subject matter of the jokes is often very vulgar.

The show is very funny, well written and wonderfully acted. Julia is very versatile and HBO deserves kudos for giving her this opportunity to shine. She is the only cast member of Seinfeld to have succeeded in post-Seinfeld TV.

I LOVE WATCHING WHATEVER JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS IS IN. SHE IS ALWAYS SO FUNNY. WE WATCHED IT DURING THE QUARANTINE AND SHE DID NOT DISAPPOINT.

I'm glad I purchased this series, it's been fun to watch. Not the best I have ever seen but certainly very good. Most people would enjoy it. The language is a bit harsh.

Veep is so funny and clever, great characters and how can you not love Julia she is the best! The supporting cast is great and the banter is so funny.

So glad I came across this show when I was channel surfing one day. Bought Seasons 1 & 2 on Blu-Ray and can't wait for Season 3 to be released. A must have for anybody's comedy collection.

Another fantastic show from HBO. Great acting and the writing is also wonderful. If you are a fan of HBO shows and a fan of Julia Louis Drefus you can not go wrong with this show.

This show will have you laughing out loud! Julia Louis Dreyfuss and the ensemble are spot on in their acting. Props to HBO for providing dvd/blu and digital in one package.

It portrays more realistic goings on behind the scenes in DC. I am sure even politicians are not always "politically correct".

If you like Julia Louis-Dreyfus you will definitely like this. Unfortunately season 1 is only 8 episodes. I can't wait to start season 2.

Absolutely one of my favorite comedies on television. Julia Louis-Dreyfus knocks it out of the white house with her portrayal of Selina Meyer.
