This movie is excellent. I wasn't sure at first -- mainly bought it because Hardy was in it, but I would rate it among the best of the superhero (or antihero, in this case) movies. Tom Hardy delivers a solid performance (as always). There should definitely be a sequel!

I had no hopes going into this film without any Spider-Man, but was overall surprised. Fun and not boring at all.

Love this movie. Treats Venom with the care and attention the top tier antihero deserves. The Blu-ray looks amazing. Everything is sharp and the inky blacks of the Venom suit are fantastic. Even the heavily criticized ending looks good, with it easy to differentiate Riot from Venom. Definitely worth picking up.

Not the best movie this year for sure. Tom Hardy tries carry the movie still falls flat. No issues with 4k disc.

I like Tom Hardy as an actor. The movie was of course a Marvel Comics character so it was intended to entertain.

The cover art for my copy isn’t the same one displayed in the photo here, which is what I found most appealing given I’ve seen the movie already. Other than that, I don’t really have any complaints. It arrived in perfect condition!

I never saw this when it was in theaters. With all the hype this movie had, I figured I would pre-order it and take a shot at it as I like superhero action films. By no means was this a bad movie, but with all the hype it brought with it, I was expecting a little more I guess. Great movie to pick up when a good sale comes, but you could probably find it cheaper digitally online.

As always, Dolby Atmos is greatest to enjoy a action, sci-fi or any movies you gonna watch at home, good story

I enjoyed this movie. I feel it could have been done better. Venom is a beast and they tamed him in this movie

Didn’t love the movie, all Marvel properties should turn over the Marvel Studios. The steel book art is great.

This was a little bit of a let down. Not what I expected. If you need a movie to kill time, buy it.

Sony did a good job of using various aspects from Marvel canon to construct an origin story that didn't require Spider-Man. Note: It's a slow starter... if you can get past the first 30 minutes or so, the payoff is great! Tom Hardy does a great job in dealing with the issues of being host to a Symbiote. Hopefully, the teaser from the post credit scene pays off in teh future.

Great looking steelbook especially considering Sony's Pop Art is usually rather garish or bland. The movie itself is just ok, mediocre by recent MCU standards. Not terrible but plays more like a comic book movie from the 00's. If you are a steelbook collector though this is a great addition to your collection.

They had so much potential to really make this a demo movie to go too. Sadly the HDR on display here is not breathtaking. The Dolby Atmos mix is a much better representation of what can be done. Each time Venom speaks is Eddie's mind/head, the above speakers get fully active. Very nice. Just wish the film looked as good as it sounds.

So siked to get this in steelbook 4k!!! I’ve been hunting for it for a year or more since it came out!! Gotten it on sale for less than 20$. Totally worth it and beautiful on 4k and bluray!! I’m looking forward to the sequel. Can’t wait to see it’s 4k steelbook.

Not up to par with marvel films but good enough story and action wise for one view. Only buy on sale.

The blacked out Steelbook packaging looks sick. Tom Hardy’s performance was great, but the movie as a whole just lacked any substance for me. I love comic book movies as much as the next person, but I felt like they really missed the mark. Good enough if you’re just looking to wind down for 2 hours and eat some popcorn, decent action sequences most will probably enjoy.

I bought this as a stocking stuffer and am so happy that I did. We all thought this movie was funny. Again, this is our opinion. The humor was maintained throughout the movie and it also had a lot of action. Purchase was easy and delivery was quick.

Fun movie with great audio and visuals. A somewhat darkish film, and its low-level sequences had excellent depth and dimension because of the HDR application. The audio track was great as well with plenty going on in the surrounds and height channels.

Movie was very slow in getting to the character at the center of the movie. After that it was a rush job.
