Tom Hardy is the man, perfect for this role. I can't wait because for this spoiler alert you might want to stop reading.... But remember that awesome game back I. The 90s called Maximum Carnage... Well they're doing it for real. Spider-Man, Venom, Carnage... It's going to be awesome!

ALTHOUGH THIS IS NOT UP TO DR. STRANGE IT IS STILL A MOVIE TO BE ENJOYED . TOM HARDY ON THE OTHER HAND GIVES A WONDERFUL PERFORMANCE AS THE MAIN CHARACTER . HE ACTS IN THE 'MOMENT' AND IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT IN THIS PART . HE IS A GREAT ACTOR WHOSE PREVIOUS WORK HAS SADLY GONE UN NOTICED .

I like this origin story of Venom. The effects are done great. Would have wanted to see Spider-Man references included even though he does not appear in the movie. It would have brought things together more for me to have them in a shared universe. Overall, a fun movie for comic fans!!!

I didnt watch this movie in theaters because of the bad reviews. Then I kept hearing about how good it was from people that I know and i have to say i dont know what critics hated about the movie. The movie is really funny, has great action, and is one of the best movies i saw last year.

Venom, despite the bad credit reviews, it was a pretty entertaining movie. Great look for Venom himself. It isn't the best superhero/antihero movie, but it is decent enough to keep your attention. You just have to remember it is a introduction movie, and every intro movie isn't always the best. It probably would've been better as a rated R movie.

I originally bought this to watch it on my friends 4k ,x-,box, player. Decided that if I'm gonna own 4k disks, I might as well buy a player. Bought one here as well, look for review. 4k disk was only 2 dollars more than Blu-ray. I haven't seen this movie in Blu, but the 4k, was awesome.

Didn't think they could pull it off in a retcon without Spidey. But it was dark and glib. Pulled their punches with the content to keep the parental guidance rating marketable, so it was no Deadpool. Decent combo pack. Not a collectible steelbook or special edition.

The marketing for this movie did it absolutely no favors, and I refused to see it in theaters. I did catch it on a flight after its release and was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable this was. Tom Hardy is brilliant, but the movie suffers from a predictable and lackluster villain. Hopefully the sequel provides a better antagonist.

Best Buy's steelbooks are often hit-or-miss, but I really liked the front art on this one. It more than makes up for the boring back art and blank inside. The movie itself isn't an MCU film but rather a Sony film, and you can tell it's lacking Marvel's golden touch. However, it was entertaining enough that I'm glad to add it to my collection.

First off, I find the movie good but not on par with MCU movies. That said, this is a reference movie in terms of audio. While the video is definitely something to enjoy, it's the audio that will keep you in the movie and feel like Venom is talking to you through all the channel directions and usage. Nice reference for your system.

This review is definitely one of the harder ones for me to make. I saw the movie in the theater, was extremely underwhelmed, decided I wanted nothing to do with the Sony Venomverse and thought I was done with it. Then I saw the Steelbook and was floored by how cool it looked. I ordered it because of that alone. Once I received it, I loved it. It looks amazing. The artist who did the cover art is super talented. I could almost frame this thing it looked so cool. However, at the end of the day, I just did not like the movie and as much as I wanted to keep this amazing piece of art, it does not belong in my collection. I let it sit on my desk debating if I wanted to open it and put it in my collection for a few days, but ultimately decided it should go to someone who actually liked the movie and would love it. So I returned it. The movie is just not for me. If you actually like the movie, I recommend this item over the standard edition for sure.

I was very skeptical at first about Venom, but to my surprise it turned out to be an amazing movie. There is so much action and comedy in this movie that it comes together very nicely. Venom is definitely a watch, it reminds me of the comics and also it’s own story at the same time.

I enjoyed this different take on a Marvel movie; only wish it had been rated R like Deadpool. I think it could've been even better had it been. 4K video quality is average for a 2K DI. The atmos audio has a few good overhead scenes. Movie was short though; only 1:30 hours long.

I mostly enjoyed this movie. At first, I was hesitant to purchase this movie as i heard mixed reviews. I'm not a huge fan of venom and only saw him as arch-nemesis to spiderman. This movie changed my mind and I'm interested in seeing where they go with this character and possibly crossover with other marvel characters.

Tom Hardy and Michelle Williams are in this movie for a good time. If that's your attitude watching it, you'll love this movie. It's a PG-13 Venom movie, so if you're expecting comic book levels of Venom you'll be sadly disappointed. You may also not appreciate the romance between Eddie and Venom that's the real gem of this picture.

I know the reviews were iffy regarding this Marvel film but we are all "die hard" Marvel movie buffs and found it just as enjoyable as all the other Marvel films. I thought the special effects surrounding his changes to and from Venom were really smooth and fluid. We loved it!!!

I really enjoyed this movie. I heard bad review from friends so I decided to watch it for myself. It was funny, entertaining, and overall a great movie. It is not for young children because it does have foul language but very enjoyable. Watched it back to back.

Venom was an awesome movie. Reviewers got this movie wrong. Yes, it's not better than anything recent to come out of the Marvel camp but Venom was still a great movie. The 4K Venom version is great and very dark in its color tone and the sound is great. Watch the movie at night.

This movie is super fun! It's a great adaptation of the Venom origin story Sans Spiderman. All I'm going to say is that it's worth every penny to own this movie. Even if your not a hardcore comic fan. If it's a Marvel character, the film is done right! Buy this movie today!!!!!
