This is a great little package of DVDs! They're great for both recording programs on TV and storing data from your computer. I own a DVD Recorder, as I haven't yet transitioned to DVR, and I do a lot of recording. These discs come at a nice price for $5 or $4 a pack, and unless you do a lot of recording, they last you for a long time. I also notice that the discs perform better on some players than the DVD+R discs, so that's also a plus!

    Great discs for recording video

These are great, multi-purpose discs for recording video, if you still have a DVD recorder, and of course they can store a lot of information on them. They're very efficient for the price, too; usually smaller packs of DVDs sell at a lot higher price at other places. While I wish the storage amount was a bit higher, I've never had any problems with them. They're durable, and cheap at 10 discs per pack. Highly recommended!

I bought a package of CD-Rs from Best Buy to make copies of a home video. When I gave the CDs to my family, they were unplayable and very disappointed. This is not the first time that I have had an issue with CDs from Best Buy and I will definitely think twice before buying CDs there in the future.

It is affordable and neatly packed. At first, I was worried if my disks would have scratch on them because it comes in a paper package. However, the dvds are very well protected with a transparent protective plate at the bottom of the dvd pack. So far the dvds are working in great quality too!

Used this product to distribute a 5 minute video that was video taped via a cell phone! The quality and the sound was very good via the cell phone. The Verbatim - 16x DVD-R Discs (10-Pack) - Silver allowed me to make copies to distribute to my team, winning a few brownie points!! My team will have this video with good picture and sound for practice for months to come.

These DVDs will work but keep in mind YOU CAN ONLY WRITE TO THEM ONCE. I mean you can format them to be a USB drive but if you want to like put linux or something on one but you ran out dont got flash drives or something that's why it wont work but it still does its job.

We had a road trip planned during which we would be carrying some of our grandchildren from El Paso, to San Antonio, and then even more of them, back to El Paso. The DVD player in the family minivan works fine, but I had not DVD's for them to watch, so I needed to copy some of their parents' disks for them to use. These did the trick, with minimal fuss.

These are recordable blank DVD discs, suitable for storing data, applications, making backups of video, or anything else that requires 4.7 gigabytes or so of (hopefully) permanent storage. Like so many supply items, these are a commodity, and most "name" brands will perform alike - that is, they do what they're supposed to do. Thumbs up on these.

Always wondering why some are DVD-R and some are DVD+R. Well I'm not sure either.......but I think, if I remember correctly, it something like this. The negative versions are for burning data once through that disc, and the positive are for the capability of burning more data on the same disc, IF your first setup the burn like that

I only needed a few Discs. I'm all digital, but every once in a while a disc is needed for software installations. Out of all stores in the 44512 area, Best Buy was the only one that sold a set of discs that didn't require me to purchase 50 discs. Thanks, Best Buy. You had what I needed when I needed it.

I used these discs in an old DVD player for a Halloween display... I wasn't sure if they'd play in an old DVD player, but they did perfectly, and made the decision to buy these that much better! I'd highly recommend these to anyone looking for a high quality, low cost DVD to burn!

If you don't want to spend 15-20 bucks on a large spindle of blank discs, this 10-pack is a great way to go. I've been using them for about a year or so, and have not had any problems with the discs. As a concession to the price point, the packaging does leave a little to be desired.

burned multiples movies to these disks and none were able to play. I did not like that they were seemingly not working right with a cd drive that I know has written working movies before

My laptop was failing intermittently, and I needed to download and run bootable diagnostics. This was the cheapest price option at the time to pick up in a Best Buy store. It worked the first time, DVD booted fine, and the diagnostics indicated a failing HDD.

I have recorded many DVD's using the DVD-R blanks I purchased at Best Buy. I have never had any problems in either recording, replace or duplication. The DVD's burn smoothly and accurately and offer excellent replay quality.

Whenever I tried to cheap out on DVD discs and buy and non-brand (or store branded) stuff, I ended up with one or two coasters. Not with Verbatim: I get these packs about twice a year, use them all and have yet to get a defective disc. Keep up the good job!

I was asked if I could put a recorded church concert on disc. So, I went out and bought these Verbatim DVD-R discs. DVD-R tends to play in older DVD players. So, I made the discs from the video stored on the computer and, voila!, the discs were made.

I am using these to create system recovery disks for my users in the office that buy new computers without those included. Helps when they come to me with crashes. Saves time and money. The crashes are inevitable with some of these users!

Always experienced predictable results with Verbatim media. That being said, my experience with Roxio and various Open Source DVD RW burins software has been spotty at best.
