I've been using Verbatim's DVDs for copying for a couple of years already, and the brand is very reliable. Even though they are rewriteable, none of them have ever failed a disc copy. I have rewritten over them and it's an easy process. The only problem I would say is, this one doesn't hold too much space and it is kind of slow at writing. I don't have a big problem with the time it takes since I just let it go while I do other things. I only really dislike the space, I love choosing high quality on my videos, but sometimes the disc doesn't have enough space so I have go with a lower quality. Still decent though, it's not completely terrible. It's not as cheap as other brands, but I'd say this brand's more reliable on not having any already-broken discs in a set.

I wanted to give copies of all the pictures I took of my daughter's basketball team's games to the players at the year end banquet. I visited BB to find inexpensive flash drives but was unsuccessful. I also was not sure I wanted to spend $7 x 17 players/coaches either. I noticed the DVDs for about what two flash drives were going to cost and decided that would work better. While much slower to create than using a flash drive, I was able to get all the disks formatted and copied in time. As far as I know, none of the disks had any issues.

I buy on the basis that the quality of the R/W DVDs seems consistent. The price is still a bit high but comes in at under $1.00/disk. I use these basically to write downloaded GNU/Linux Operating Systems of which there literally hundreds of varying usability from excellent as is PCLinuxOS64 the system I use lately and consistently. For an overview of Linux distributions you can go to but I work in a Linux Users Group and you can learn more about that at .

Use mainly to record certain TV shows off cable for later viewing, these rewritable discs are the perfect choice. We use them over & over countless times without issue. It was several months before my DVD recorder displayed a disc error indicating the need for a new disc. This 30 pack was a great value, especially while on sale. After finalizing the disc on my DVD recorder they work without problem on my other DVD players.

Recently purchased a video tape converter to DVD player..but found that in order to Play in my DVD player, with these converted discs, that they must be only RW type DVDs,because R.s simply don't work for some reason in the player After conversion..I have Masses of old VCR tapes I need to transfer to disc,so finding the Best quality but at cheapest price point for large volumes of discs, was something I researched prior to buying, and after using..yes,these Verbatim RW DVDs,Fit my need in the product wanted..Do Recommend.

Although I was not able to find these Verbatim DVD+RW discs in 2 Best Buy stores, I WAS able to order them online easily (though delivery took 2 weeks). I don't want Cable, so I pre-set and record different programmes from different TV stations each day, and these are THE best discs to record on from my Magnavox Digital DVD Recorder! Each disc lasts for weeks at a time, whereas other makes (i.e. Memorex, etc.) only last a few days - if that.

FOR MANY YERS I HAVE BEEN USING THESE VERBATIM REWRITABLE DVD'S TO RECORD AWARDS SHOWS, TV SHOWS AND MOVIES ON MY PANASONIC DVD RECORDER. THE QUALITY OF THE RECORDINGS ARE EXCELLENT ESPECIALLY IN THE SP (2 HOUR) MODE. HOWEVER, THE LP (4 HOUR) MODE ALSO PRODUCES GOOD QUALITY RECORDINGS. THIS PACKAGE HAS 30 RECORDABLE DVD'S FOR ONLY $24.99 WHICH IS A VERY GOOD PRICE. I HOPE TO HAVE MANY FUN HOURS RECORDING AWARDS SHOWS, T.V. SHOWS AND MOVIES ON MY 30 VERBATIM REWRITABLE DVD'S.

I asked several people in the store before purchasing it.... most of the staff didn't know what they were talking about.... I ended buying it, used it, and not being able to play on my DVD player. Later I realized I needed the minus R instead... since I opened it and used it, I'm not able to return it, so the whole stack of disk is useless sitting somewhere in my house now.

These DVD-RW were the only brand available and most stores don’t even sell DVD-RW disks. I use them exclusively for my two Toshiba DVD recorders and record my daily over the air TV shows. Occasionally you do get a “coaster” or two that won’t record, but they work for the most part. I mark the month and year I start using them and they seem to have a two year life span.

My dad has old video recordings that he was unable to play any longer. Because he isn't quite into digital video files, we transferred the home movies onto DVD's. Because he has numerous random video cassettes, we chose re-recordable DVD's in case we needed to add different recorded moments to the existing DVD. It worked out well. The picture is pretty good. Well, as good as the original recording, anyway. I would recommend this to others.

I picked these up due to the nature of my profession as a Enterprise Administrator whereas I may need to re-image computers, or create backups by using the larger data capacity of DVDs when dealing with Windows and Linux hosts. They are also handy for general data back up and media creation. Don't be left out in the cold when the moment calls for large blank media.

Bought new discs because I thought my old discs were wearing out from use in my recorder. Turns out recorder wore out. Not the discs. New discs confirmed that. Really glad that +RW auto-finalized in my DVD recorder. Otherwise I'd have a stack of unwatchable recordings. Can still use discs for PC

Have had great experiance with Verbatim discs. Bought the RW to see if I could keep my cost for recording even lower. had a slight reading problem after re-recording on the first disc but was able to get the player to read the disc. Quality of picture and sound is what I have come to expect from this brand, GREAT!

With a new PC, and needing to change OS to Windows 8.1 Pro to be able to interact with work system, I needed to backup original Windows version and the Win 8.1 Pro download. That worked quite efficiently. Likewise with other program downloads needed. Great for secure storage for safety sake.

I bought these Verbatim DVD+RW disc after buying a spool of CompUSA disc from Amazon. Every one of the CompUSA disc failed, every movie I copied to those disc skipped and stopped just seconds into the movie. So far these Verbatim disc have copied and re-copied movies without a single problem.

I am very low tech. Tried to record a TV program with my DVD recorder. The instructions said a new DVD will automatically format. I guess it didn't, because the program did not record. Could be me or the old DVD recorder. Probably me.

Great product! Sometimes you need a DVD just to transfer a large amount of files or video, etc. You can transfer those files and then erase the disc and use it again. It eliminates having a stack of unused DVD-Rs at your desk! 4x DVD-Rws burn in 15-20 mins depending on your burner settings.
