These come on a quality spindle, are light yet heavy-duty, have the best technology for a re-writable surface and are warrantied. In case you were wondering; the format technology is [basic] authorable original full commercial compression technology (the kind that doesn't harm your lasers/ect.) without layering and {with} reflective coated for easy reading...

These re-writable blu-ray discs are great, they come with a hardcoat protective layer on the writable side to help avoid scratching them. I've burned and reburned the same disc probably 10 or 15 times and there's barely a light scratch on it!!

These discs were purchased with the expressed purpose of archiving old family videos and data back up. Using the software in Cyberlink Media Suite 11 Ultimate and my custom built computer w/ BD-RE and BD-ROM optical drives, I have made a small summer project out of the 27.6GB worth of old videos that where just "collecting dust" on my old system and converting them into "long" blu-ray videos. "Out of the box" each disk has 22.5GB left for you to fill up, so plan accordingly. The space that blu-ray discs offer, is a great way to consolidate the number of data CDs and DVDs you have lying around. Other than that, the only other thing I have to say is please read what I wrote in the "what's great about it" and "what's not so great" sections above. FOR THOSE OF YOU OUT THERE THAT ARE NOT TECHNOLOGICALLY INCLINED: These discs simply will NOT work for you if you do NOT have a blu-ray burner optical drive, and software that has blu-ray disc authoring capabilities installed on your computer. Please do not be like the goobers out there who expect their dinosaur computer to be able to author blu-ray discs, then complain to the retailer (and/or the manufacturer for that matter) when it just doesn't pan out. In that case, it is not the discs that are faulty, it is your logic.

It seems that blue-ray RE disks must be old tech had to order them after checking at 3 other stores, on one carrying them anymore. Were in good shape and worked for my needs. Great price!!

Bluray discs don’t work with apple products due to sony copyright bs. Wish there was a notice on the product before i opened it

I have never had an issue with this brand of disc and recommend it.

Works as expected and the disc was also playable on my BD player. Very satisfied.
