The whole activation lock problem bit

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.To answer everyone's question: IT IS activation locked, BUT Verizon always intended you to call following the directions and phone # in the instructions provided. Well unless you know someone at Verizon or know a better phone # to punch through. The ones in the instructions have become broken/invalid and cause you to enter a loop of an automated voice that says "Sorry, we can't activate your device", BUT THEN it WON'T give you a customer service representative to help.. it just starts over.. Not Best Buy's fault, but should probably resolve this or stop carrying it.

Hot Spot WiFi

Reading the other reviews it seems best buy was supposed to do something at the store before we left. At any rate provided activation instructions did not work and we just plan to return this.

Terrible waste of time.

Took it to a Verizon store and was basically told "we can't do anything to make this work".

I use it for gaming. The 150 GBS for $100 is the best route for me. There’s no connectivity issues or anything for me. I’d recommend.

Verizon Hot garbage

I was up and running in less than 5 min.

DO NOT BUY THIS DEVICE!!!!

I ended up having to drive to a Verizon Corporate store and it still took 2 hours to activate. It's a paper weight now.
