I got this to play Pokemon go, the plans are fine for that. A good cost effective plan to avoid getting an iPhone. And it's nice to be able to check your email every so often. I haven't had that bad Verizon cell service and I have been off the "beaten path" a few times with it. It works when you need it and the plans are not that pricy to boot.

I bought this for use as a backup network connection when performing customer meetings and demonstrations in case other networks are unavailable or have blocked ports. I use it to connect with various devices ranging from my iPhone and iPad to my Windows Surface Pro 4 and a Macbook Pro. This device seems to have difficulty connecting at times but this could be the fault of Verizon's service and not the device--though I have not performed any troubleshooting on this. When it is connected it seems to work fine. There is an SD card slot on this device which is great if you need to share files with other connected devices. There is a small display on the device to tell you what it is doing, plus some other limited information. This can be helpful when troubleshooting. Once connected to this device you can open your browser and log into the management console and it is easy to make changes to settings.

this unit was a replacement for the five year old model that finally just would not work anymore. very pleased with both units. my use is daily for eight to twelve hours.

I bought this for internet access in our RV. It serves that purpose but it's almost too expensive to use. We burned up 5GB data ($60) in no time flat. We did stream some football but not that much, maybe 15-20 minutes. When I tried to get the data usage it was "not available ". The usage data should refresh quicker. I got an email at 2.5 GB remaining and 1.25GB remaining ( so you will buy more data) They should give this device away for nothing because believe me, Verizon is making a killing off of the data. This is the first hotspot device I've ever used. We had up to four devices on it at once with no problem. I would not recommend this product because there must be a better way.

This product was misrepresented. The service available has been reduced to one choice! You have to pay $60 for 1 month /3GB. I used less than 1 GB in a month, When I went back to purchase a smaller amount, for less cost and was told that was not possible.

I was tired of my kids not having wifi in the car so I thought perfect idea, but I was wrong. It was the biggest hassle never worked went thru 20 bucks of data in 20 minutes. It now sits in the closet.

Bought this to use when traveling for work. Does what it should, when it should, for the lowest price I could find. Very happy with the hotspot.

This was a new gadget for me, Never used one before but it was easy to use. And it worked well on my trip when I didn't have internet access.
