    This is a prepaid card. Buy it and load it onto your Verizon prepaid account. If that is what you are looking for then I don't know how you could be disappointed with this item.

    I bought this phone for my grandfather, who rarely uses a cell phone. This plan was perfect for him. I can prepay as much as I want and he is only charged when we sends or receives calls from non-Verizon customers....and the prepaid balance doesn't expire!
