Just what I need for my use. Great if you don't want a contract cell phone and pay as you need the minutes!

Purchasing the card is relatively easy. Also to load it to your phone can be done by phone, text, or online at the website. Also easy. The problem is unlike the at&t go phone which does not deduct money for days which you do not use it. This card does. You have 30 days for $50 unlimited talk, text, and web. So use it as much as possible everyday. Some other cards are also much better deals than this one.

Didn't know these cards had an expiration date. Not fun if you're giving it as a gift.

I had a contract with AT&T and was constantly getting overage and data charges. My bill averaged around $150/month. I switched to Verizon and pay $50/month for unlimited data, text, and web. You just can't beat it. I think after taxes and fees, I pay $53.

Best Buy forgot to set up the card before sending to my gift recipient, making it a bit embarrassing and a hassle for the recipient. Might want to purchase in-store and send yourself.

30 day experation dates are a rip off

these verizon calling cards are a big rip off because they do not have enough time to use them before they expire and also if you get a text msg from a company spamming you or if someone emails accidently texes you it gets deducted from the verizon phone card that you bought and it is a real hassel trying to get the money back. the card is a great idea but when you only have 30 days to use it and you don't use it very often your forced to buy more minutes every 30 days and that really adds up. if they are going to offer these phone cards they need to extend the experation date to maybe 4 to 6 months so you don't lose so many minutes every month when the card expires after 30 days unless you buy the $50 or $100 verizon phone cards which offer a longer experation date but in my case the $15 card would be perfect since I do not make alot of calls but I am not going to keep buying these cards every 30 days because the time expired but there are other cell phone calling cards for no contract cell phones out there that have longer experation dates than verizon does.

What I appreciate most is that I am able to purchase it online via Best Buy and have it express delivered and add it to my phone prior to the bill is actually due. Makes life simple and easy.

I used this card with the super-basic prepaid calling plan with Verizon, which works out to 25 cents per minute. I don't use the phone that often, and the only reason I bought this large of a card was so that the minutes wouldn't expire very quickly. It's actually a better value to buy the $100 card and keep the minutes from expiring for a whole year.

One is not tied down to pay a monthly fee however if one does not talk much, i.e. use it that much, it is quite on the expensive side.
