I had something completely different in mind when I started this. It's an interesting take on Victor Frankenstein, and Frankenstein's monster has very little to do with the movie itself, but the acting is good.

A different take on the Frankenstein story, and from the view of Igor. Not a bad movie as everyone said, just different, story is more centered on Igor and Victor. If you want the classic, then this is not for you.

I prefer the old The Bride movie with Sting to this, but this one has its strong points. It's another take on Mary Shelley's story. This one is more the story of Igor than Frankenstein and his monster.

The Frankenstein story has been done so many times that it's hard to come up with something new. This one does it. It tells the story of a circus hunchback who is cured by the good doctor, becomes his assistant , given the name Igor (pronounced EE-gore), and then becomes Victor's partner. The movie is done through Igor's eyes and this gives it a fresh look. Both male leads (James McAvoy & Daniel Radcliffe) are excellent. The story has romance, action and a cool looking monster.

While the movie clearly doesn't follow Mary Shelley's original, it is, at least, entertaining. Lots of poetic license taken with the work and the characters. The acting is good, and the videography appealing.

I probably loved this one because i was expecting a boring and drawn out Drama, this wasn't. It had action and a great finale. A friend recommended this to me and I would recommend to others.

The retelling of Frankenstein and his monster as seen through the eyes of Igor. But what if Igor was just as intelligent as Victor? And what if the only conscience Victor had was Igor?

I originally bought this movie on a whim because of the price. I like how the story revolved around igor although the end was a little exagerated. Overall great movie at a great price.

i enjoyed the movie. it was not what i expected but did enjoy the actor who played the parts. it is an enjoyable ride through most of the movie. the ending is weak and mostly predictable.

The actors were all great in the roles, especially Daniel Radcliffe and Igor and James McAvoy as the eccentric scientist Victor Frankenstein. The set pieces, effects, and action were all very grand. The story concentrated more on the interaction btwn Igor and Victor rather than on the Frankenstein monster himself, yet still a good and exciting version. Although the ending felt a little rushed. If you're a fan, it is definitely worth to check this out.

I enjoyed this movie. James McAvoy portrays the mad scientist with a comical grace. It wasn't the most spectacular thing to ever grace the screen. But it was a fun escape for a little while.

As a whole I would say this movie is ok. It's not bad, but definitely worth a watch. The effects both digital and practical are great and the period clothing and settings are top-notch.

Most reviews said this was a bad movie, but I kind of liked it. It was fun, I think James McAvoy was great and I enjoyed that the story was told from the perspective of Igor.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this movie but it was quite entertaining. CGI was good and it's an interesting story told from a different perspective. Definitely worth checking out.

I really liked the movie, I just thought it had a slow start. It seemed to take awhile to get to the interesting part of the movie. Once the story was going, the movie was really good.

Victor Frankenstein delivers a timely masterpiece with two great actors Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy, if only it did better in the box office so there could possibly be sequels.

This is a great rendition to the classic Frankenstein horror film. It gives you and interesting twist and back story to how it all began. I would recommend this movie to anyone!

I have seen many remakes of Frankenstein, as humorous from Mel Brooks, some as side characters like Van Helsing which was great in itself. None seamed to capture mans want to do good only to realize it's futility when dealing with creation. I would definitely recommend this to anyone seeking a good twist on an age old classic. All in all a truly exciting and at many times uplifting movie and makes you wanting more.

Not sure why so much hate on this film. I like the take they took on this old time story. sure there is a some areas they could of done better, but over all a solid movie...

Scratching my head on why this movie didn't do more in the box office. The storyline is good, and the acting is great. I would recommend this movie for your video library.
