Can’t rave more amount this multi-media record player. Its looks are fantastic with a modern retro feel to it. Records sound great, CD player is great and with radio and blue tooth options as well it’s a great system for a decent price point. There is a cassette deck on the side but I don’t have any cassettes to try it out. The sound quality is good but I would advise to pick up some speakers with a decent subwoofer. It makes a huge difference.

Practical nostalgia in an imperfect design

First off, i like the nostalgic imagery to the Victrola of the past. It’s also quite a beautiful machine/cabinet as well. I relly enjoy seeing it, especially when the lighting is on. Truly nostalgic. It calls itself a 6 in 1 and the description says 7 in 1… that should have been a red flag. Nevertheless, this is exaggeration to a degree. What do you get? A decent very basic single tape player (doesnt record), a single CD player (doesnt record), and FM radio tuner (no AM dial), and a record player. By my count that’s 4 things. However, there is a bluetooth connection to bluetooth speakers (they count that) and a built in speaker (they count that too), hence the exaggeration. The record player does come with the attachment for 45s if you have them (im guessing that’s the 7th in 1?). and does play all 3 standard speeds including the most popular 33 & 45 and the very rare (i think its) 78. I have a lot of records, many very old, i havent had to use that speed yet. The switch between functions is quite easy and was designed well enough to ensure that only the selected function plays. There are built in speakers, pretty basic with no real depth, but dont want bass vibrations in a cabinet with a record player, which is why it has bluetooth capabilities to link to your Bluetooth speakers, if you have them. Works well enough at times but was a bit glitchy from over 15 ft away. The record cabinet has a smart close and opent feature i do love that makes it great to look at and sleak when the top is put down. The bar has the stanrd lock on it. I have 4 concerns/disappoitments. 1) No AM dial; 2) the FM dial looks hood but is impractical as it quicjly jumps by stations with ease, harder to tune in than ANY dial radio I’ve ever used (going back to radios from the 40s). Should have been a bigger dial to allow for more detailed adjustments, or do what they had in the past ans have stacked dials (major and minor tuning); 3) tape deck doesnt auto switch direction and keep playing (at least not mine). This was pretty common and standard for decades, back into the 80s even. Should your tape get caught in this, good luck!!!!! 4) the record needle/head is very low grade. 80% or more of the records ive played on it skip. Ive even tried the old school added weight feature and have added more weight than ive ever added to any head EVER and it still skips. My guess is that the needle is very wide, hard and cheap to make it last long any minimal cost or repair. However we’ve long been able to replace needles and heads in the past, it would have been wise to make it easy to replace should the need or desire arise… especially to upgrade to a better quality needle. Final thoughts, i like the nostalgic concept of harking back to the Victrolas of the past, but just like many things in today’s world made overseas… it’s just another knock off. This is an, at best, $80-120 system being sold for $300-500.

Great buy, worth every penny. It is easy to use, very vintage-looking, and fun to have. I love it, I bought it for my husband, and he loves it. If you need a louder sound, you can connect speakers to this. I highly recommend this.

Purchased as a gift for a parent and so far they enjoys this. The ability to play CDs, tapes and records make them happy as they have lots of old music. Not sure if the needle will damage the records long term, but so far so good. The sound quality is fine. Hooking up external speakers would give a better sound. it looks and feels nice and does not take up a lot of space.

Listening to my vinyl records and CD’s of which I have collected over the years brings joy to my heart. The quality of sound along with the options of playing a CD, record, or radio brings entertainment at the touch of a finger. I am able to hear the sound from any part of my home while doing my daily chores. I even break out dancing when the moment is right. I have listened to Victrola equipment over the years and appreciate their quality as well as value their products.

I bought this as a Birthday gift for my boyfriend and we both have gotten to enjoy it. I was shopping around for record players for quite a while and none if them fit the criteria as to what I was looking for: bluetooth capability, different record playing speeds, cd player, and built-in speakers. What was a sweet little bonus was the built-in cassette player and radio! The built-in speakers sound great and there's also a light behind the face of the radio dial that gives the room a little ambience.

Seems well built and when I tried all the basic functions worked as expected. Sound levels and sound quality was a little better than and decent clock radio that is to say base response is weak but med range and up sounds clear with little obvious distortion. Record player worked smoothly and quietly. Dito for CD player. Surprised how sensitive the radio was and sounded as good as the CD player.
For the sale price consider it a good buy and think our Grandson will like it. Suspect he will use the Bluetooth function and listen to it with his ear buds which he wears everywhere but the shower.

We were looking for something to play and record our old LPs and this fits the bill. I've hooked up a turntable to receiver to computer, but found the process to be a hassle and a tad cumbersome. Besides, the old turntable had died and I was in the process of shopping for a replacement. I've seen the Victrolas before, but figured they were nothing more than a gimmick with a lousy sound. But the sales associate at Best Buy dispelled such notions and suggested I might be impressed. Besides, he added, Best Buy's return policy eliminated the risk of getting stuck with a piece of junk. Well, long story short: The Victrola is easy to operate and offers a decent sound. It's also easy to operate and the Bluetooth compatibility is a plus. The price point made the Victrola a better option than having to buy a new turntable. It's a handsome addition to the den.

I purchased the Victrola - Empire Bluetooth 6-in-1 Record Player - Gold/Brown/Black for my mother as her cd player stopped working after many years of consistent use. My mother was awestruck and pleased with the ease of using this audio device. The bonus was the record player as she can now listen to her vinyls that have been stored in the basement for decades. The sound quality is acceptable but I would suggest extra speakers for those who are audiophiles. However, for regular listeners like my mother, this audio equipment is satisfactory as well as beautifully designed.

Love this record player and actually give it 4.5 stars. The sound quality is good, but a little low on the base. Really like the ability to play records, tapes and CD's all on one piece of equipment. Also really like the fact that it does not require a receiver to run. I highly recommend it so far.

I purchased this unit because my wife wanted to experiment in vinyl. I wanted something that could do more than just play records, so I appreciated that this unit also had a CD player, radio, and Bluetooth as advertised features (we don't have any cassettes).
The overall build quality is decent, and we VERY much appreciated the mid-century aesthetic FAR more than the other faux-antique design options Victrola has to offer (to us, their Aviator and Navigator models look cheap and ridiculous more than anything nostalgic). The speaker quality is decent for an all-in-one unit; it lacks deep bass, but can still fill a larger living room without issue. CD Player, radio, and Bluetooth all functioned well, but it absolutely falls flat on its face when it comes to record playing.
The first unit we purchased was a lemon: the record player was fully DOA so we returned it and purchased a new one. The second unit had an absolutely horrible wobble to it and I believe the needle was either broken or bent on arrival. We exchanged that unit and decided to give them one more chance with a third unit. Everything seemed to function, but the record player quality was just abysmal to the point that it might as well have been broken. Scratchy, distorted, and faded to the maximum degree. It really bummed me out how terrible the record player was on all these units because we liked everything else about it.
We returned our third unit and instead opted for the Victrola Eastwood Signature; it only has Bluetooth and built-in speakers as additional features to the record player (no cd, cassette, or radio). It utilizes an Audio-Technica cartridge and I believe that to account for the MASSIVE difference in audio quality for the turntable; it sounds far better than other Victrola all-in-one turntables.
If Victrola offered the Empire with a markedly better build quality for the turntable like they have in their Eastwood Signature, it would be a grand slam. Unfortunately, this is much more of an easy pop-fly out. Avoid this unit.

"needed" an all in 1. This was a sleek-looking model that fit the bill. Records sound good, finally have a CD player again. Tape deck is basic and tucked in the back right (space considerations for some). And it looks great. Retro and also not too intrusive, With the top closed, it's very much out of the way.

I bought this 6-in-1 record player for my 16-year-old daughter, and it ended up being a great choice. She loves that it can play vinyl, Bluetooth, CDs, cassettes, and even has radio and AUX, so she can switch between her old records and her phone without any hassle. The setup was quick, and the sound quality is better than I expected for a compact all-in-one unit. It looks nice in her room and doesn’t take up much space. She’s been using it every day, and it’s been fun seeing her enjoy both new music and the older stuff I grew up with. Overall, it’s been a solid purchase and a great gift for her.

This audio system works great and has that classic, quality, nostalgic sound that I was wanting. Love the aesthetics. The record player and CD player is easy to use and works great. I love that I can connect my cellphone to the audio system via bluetooth. I gives the songs that I am streaming that same quality sound.

At first glance, this Victrola could be your standard generic music player. However, it holds quite a bit of power for such a device. It is somewhat heavy, but that is due to its sturdiness. The speakers are above average. It won't win any audiophile awards, but it is quite enjoyable. The turntable is easy to use, and doesn't require a person to have a degree in turntablology. This was a gift and my niece loves it in her college apartment. A+
