We have quite a few records but had nothing to play them on. We saw this at Best Buy and figured it was the perfect player for our needs. Our grandchildren (ages 2-16) love it!

This was bought for a Christmas present - the receiver is definitely not a first time vinyl user - they are aware of the pitfalls of the medium. Within the first week and maybe 3 spins of a record the stylus/needle is missing in action. I thought no big deal, I'll just buy them a new stylus. Wrong, you can't buy replacement needles or cartridges from them. Planned obsolescence of the worst degree.

The sound control wheel was broken. After getting into a fight with the BEST BUY customer service guy, we got a new one that works properly.
