This is a perfect record player for us to use with our grandchildren. We have quite a few records but had nothing to play them on. We saw this at Best Buy and figured it was the perfect player for our needs. Our grandchildren (ages 2-16) love it!

Its a good budget record player, i only recommend it if you planning to own a couple of vinyls but overall its ok i would get an audio technical its good but expensive but worth.

No stylus yes slidin

Maybe one star isn't fair - let me tell you my story. This was bought for a Christmas present - the receiver is definitely not a first time vinyl user - they are aware of the pitfalls of the medium. Within the first week and maybe 3 spins of a record the stylus/needle is missing in action. I thought no big deal, I'll just buy them a new stylus. Wrong, you can't buy replacement needles or cartridges from them. Planned obsolescence of the worst degree.

I purchased this for my daughter as a birthday gift. She liked the look of it, suitcase functionality, and detachable lid for jacket display. She did not like the sound the unit produced and we returned it to Best Buy.
