I cant believe how many of these speakers are on a sales floor and are not as popular as they should be. At either high or low volume levels, I can hear a huge amount of detail. These drivers also deliver crazy amounts of bass if desired. They work equally well as a stereo setup or in a surround sound situation. The more power you can deliver the better they will sing, since they have 4 ohm impedance. They sound fantastic on an integrated receiver, like a ~$1500 Denon or Pioneer, but even more so with an outboard amp and separate processor if you want to upgrade later. (best buy does not carry such products.) You MUST let the drivers break in for about 100 hours before you can make a judgment in your home. Read the manual: speaker placement is important too.

Test these in the store and then listen to othes. The difference is clear! The sound quality is great at low or high levels. My amp is only 180 watts per channel so not quite the state 200 watt max, but the sound is sweet, clear, and crisp even at the top (which I never use given it would blow away all 4000 sq ft of my open house floorplan.) These things are powerful. The floor stand pins allow you to isolate the sound from any floor vibration and to make adjustments for perfect stability and level. PS: The units even come with gloves so you don't smudge them when you handle them.

beautiful to hear, beautiful to look at. this is an impressive piece of equipment. very neutral sounding but clear & powerful. have a 185wpc amp at 4 ohms driving it and these speakers just sing. If you really love listening to music, I recommend these highly. one of the best purchases that I have ever made.

All I can say about these speakers is that I'm in heaven! I purchased a Pioneer Elite receiver to power them and I am just enthralled by the quality of these speakers. Sorry - there's not much else I can say, these are the best!
