    Outstanding Sound

We purchased a Denon 4308 A/V receiver in May, 2008, and after wrestling for 4 months to achieve a decent sound out of our amalgam of 35 years worth of collected speakers (the Denon receiver was a huge improvement in itself, but then I found I wanted better), I finally purchased a set of 4 of the Haydyn Bookshelf speakers, for the side and rear surround channels, along with Mozart Grand speakers for the front channels and a Maestro speaker for the center channel. The only speaker not of Vienna Acoustics origin is our subwoofer, which is a Martin Logan Abyss. Once the bookshelf speakers were properly "seasoned", the sound is FABULOUS. The acoustics of our A/V room are quite challenging, but we have been able to achieve a spectacular spatiality of sound, as well as audio imaging that was not previously possible. BRAVO to Best Buy, Denon, Martin Logan and especially Vienna Acoustics!

!This is the best sounding pair of speakers I have ever meet - don't let the size fool you - I love this speakers and might keep them for myself! Do not take my word for it - Do your own sound check at Best Buy and you will see what I am talking about I tested a Bose Series 10, Definitive Technology 7005, Klipsch RF 7 and The Vienna Acoustics and here is my score Vienna Acoustics score : 10 (noticed notes I did not know existed - absoluty accuare voice re production) Bose score: 7 (good but could use a little more base) Definitive Technology 7005 score: 6 (loots of base but lacks mid range) Klipsch RF 7score: 2 (needs a lot of EQ adjusting with amp to make them work - even with subwolfer not even close to Definite Technology )

    No turning back

I went to BB searching for some rear speakers, I have done my research so I know that Vienna Acoustics produces speakers of the highest quality. I currently have Mirage O2 speakers: two towers, two bookshelf speakers, and a center. These blow my mirage tower speakers out of the way and made me feally disappointed that I had purchased the mirage speakers. Mirage speakers are great but this is the difference between a mustang (mirage) and a lamborghini (Vienna) if that provides a better picture. If you compare these speakers by the numbers there isn't too much of a difference, but when you hear them for the first time there is no turning away from Vienna Acoustics. I have never heard better sounds coming from a speaker in all my life, so I have to save up and either get these or the Vienna Schonberg Speakers because there is just no turning back. These speakers are a bit pricy, but are the best quality that Magnolia offers.

    Great pair of Bookshelf speakers

Owned many pairs of bookshelf speakers starting in the 60"s with the Dynaco hifi bookshelf. Listen to many others from the conventional to the experimental, from the analytical to the sublime, to the rock solid to the whimsical, the economical to the absurd, and it all comes down to how it sounds. These speakers are solid in its musical presentation. Just pair them with GOOD subwoofer and you can only beat these speaker by spending 10 times more.
