I originally bought the Vienna Acoustics Subson subwoofer. I compared the sound image to that of other leading brands and the Subson stood out so I bought it. The sound quality and output was/is exceptional so I went back to look at the Webern speakers to see what I thought of them as well. I listened to many other speakers and I really thought the Webern speakers sounded superior to the others I was comparing them to. Sound quality is subjective but I really like the speakers and would recommend them. You must have a decent audio receiver to realize the full potential of any high quality speaker so if you don't, then you can't expect them to sound as good to you as they do to me. The speakers are a bit costly, but if you have the money then you won't regret your purchase. The bookshelf speakers I bought did not come with speaker stands so you'll have to purchase them separately if you want them.
