Fun Concept, Poor Execution
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My kids and I love the novelty of this entry level VR and nostalgic viewmaster style discs, but it was seriously complicated getting it to work properly. Scanning the RF card to activate, as well as trying to get the content to spring out of the disk virtually, took me days. Once you are in, the disks are interesting and informative, and the photo locations are excellent. You will need to strip all casing from your phone to get it into the VR unit, and it will generate some serious heat while using it. Nothing like playing hot potato with you expensive phone while trying to get it out of the unit.
